USANA – Q3 Sales Increased 21.5% To $233.3 Million

 
USANA Health Sciences, Inc. (NYSE: USNA) today announced record financial results for its fiscal third quarter ended October 3, 2015.
Financial Performance
For the third quarter of 2015, net sales increased to $233.3 million, up 21.5% compared with $191.9 million in the prior-year period. The increase in net sales was driven by 39.2% growth in the number of active Associates and 15.6% growth in the number of Preferred Customers. Fluctuations in currency exchange rates negatively impacted net sales by $18.3 million year-over-year and $7.3 million on a sequential quarter basis. Third quarter net sales increased 31.1% year-over-year on a constant currency basis.

Aces for Humanity Raises $25K For USANA True Health Foundation

 
The Women’s Tennis Association (WTA) announced today the Aces for Humanity, a joint WTA and USANA Health Sciences initiative supporting the USANA True Health Foundation, has raised $25,000 this year toward the not-for-profit philanthropy whose mission is to provide the most critical human necessities to those suffering or in need.
Beginning at the BNP Paribas Open in Indian Wells, every ace served at a Premier-level WTA event translated into a dollar donation for the Foundation. For every ace served by the eight USANA Brand Ambassadors—Caroline Wozniacki, Eugenie Bouchard, Madison Keys, Monica Puig, Sloane Stephens, Samantha Stosur, Zhang Shuai and Zheng Saisai—the WTA contributed $10 to the campaign, while every ace served by any other WTA player translated into a $5 donation.  In sum, 435 aces were served by the eight USANA Ambassadors resulting in a donation of $24,220. The overall amount was increased to $25,000.

USANA Names Aurora “Duday” Gaston Regional Manager Of Philippines, Indonesia

USANA Reports Record Revenue Of $233.2 Million + 23.9%

 
USANA Health Sciences, Inc. (NYSE: USNA) today announced record financial results for its fiscal second quarter ended July 4, 2015. The Company also increased its financial outlook for 2015.
Financial Performance

Second quarter net sales increased 23.9% to $233.2 million
Second quarter EPS increased 41.2% to $1.92
Number of active Associates increased 40.3% to 397,000

For the second quarter of 2015, net sales increased to $233.2 million, up 23.9% compared with $188.3 million in the prior-year period. The increase in net sales was driven by 40.3% growth in the number of active Associates and 15.2% growth in the number of Preferred Customers. Also included in net sales for the quarter is $5 million in revenue that was deferred during the previous quarter in connection with price increases in China. USANA Appoints Co-CEOs

 

USANA Health Sciences recently announced that the Board of Directors has appointed Dave Wentz and Kevin Guest as Co-Chief Executive Officers of the Company, effective immediately. USANA – Q3 Revenue Up 10.5% to $191.9 million

 
USANA Health Sciences, Inc. (NYSE: USNA) today announced financial results for its fiscal third quarter ended September 27, 2014. The Company also provided updated net sales and earnings guidance for 2014.
Financial Performance:
For the third quarter of 2014, net sales increased by 10.5% to $191.9 million, compared with $173.7 million in the prior-year period. The increase in net sales was driven by overall Associate growth of 18.8%, which was generated by the Companys Asia Pacific region.
Net earnings for the third quarter increased by 16.4% to $19.5 million, compared with $16.8 million during the prior-year period. This increase was driven by higher net sales and lower relative Associate Incentives expense. On a relative basis, Associate Incentives expense declined due to a $4.5 million one-time payout resulting from the pricing and compensation plan initiatives implemented by the Company in the third quarter of 2013. Earnings per share for the quarter increased by 26.7% to $1.47, compared with $1.16 in the third quarter of the prior year.
