For a fifth consecutive year, USANA Health Sciences has been recognized as one of 52 dedicated Direct Selling Association member companies to take part in the 2014 DSA Code of Ethics Communication Initiative.
While participation in the program is optional for DSA member companies, doing so demonstrates extra efforts made to promote the Code of Ethics.
“Receiving acknowledgment for this initiative year after year is more than just another accolade for USANA,” said Dan Whitney, USANA Vice President of Ethics and Market Expansion. “It demonstrates the transparency and commitment to ethics in which USANA operates with on a daily basis.”
Created in 2008, the initiative recognizes member companies that go above and beyond in their efforts to promote awareness of the code by fulfilling the necessary criteria and adhering to ethical business practices within direct sales.
“It’s an honor to be a member of the DSA Code of Ethics, and we take that responsibility seriously,” said Kevin Guest, President of USANA. “Participation in this initiative allows us to properly educate the public about the direct selling industry and continue to hold ourselves and other direct selling companies accountable to high ethical standards.”
