Vorwerk 2016 Sales Up 4.1% To Euro 3.1 Billion

Continued growth, significant investments in the expansion of production facilities, and further development of digital offerings: At today’s press conference in Düsseldorf, the Vorwerk Group Managing Partners, Reiner Strecker, Rainer Genes and Frank van Oers, announced the figures for the past fiscal year, 2016, and the Group’s plans for the coming years.

In the 133rd fiscal year in the history of the company, the Vorwerk Group’s total revenues were up 4.1 percent to 3.1 billion euros (not including VAT). Moreover, the Group generated an increase in business volume, which also includes the new business of the akf group, which totaled 1.2 billion euros. With a volume of 3.8 billion, Vorwerk achieved a year-on-year increase of 4.7 percent.
A look at the German market reveals that the Vorwerk Group is also up on last year. Taken together, all of its German activities generated 7.1 growth in sales to 1.1 billion euros.
At the financial press conference in Düsseldorf, the spotlight was very much on the subject of digitization, which Vorwerk is approaching at many different levels.

Thermomix Australia – A Vorwerk company – Is Being Sued By A Former Distributor

 
According to News.com.au an Australian based magazine, Thermomix a Vorwerk company is sued by a former distributor.
News.com.au:
THE $2089 Thermomix calls itself “the most advanced appliance on the market” and has thousands of zealous fans, but the cult kitchen brand is at the centre of a bitter, emotional legal battle with a “traumatised” former contractor.
The high tech food processor is supposed to make life easier, yet in the past two years the company has been accused of causing third degree burns, encouraging a toxic bullying culture and failing to be honest with its customers.
Now former contractor Elisabeth Higgins, 56, from Perth, is suing Thermomix Australia in the District Court of WA. She claims Thermomix took away her business and failed to compensate her, and wants them to pay her lost earnings of

Vorwerk 2015 Revenue Up 23.9% To Euro 3.5 Billion

 
A new sales record, significant growth in almost all of its business segments and further expansion of its digital offering: At its financial press conference in Düsseldorf today, the Wuppertal-based (Germany) Vorwerk Group presented its figures for the fiscal year 2015.
“We have a very successful year to look back on,” as the Managing Partners Reiner Strecker, Frank van Oers and Rainer Genes reported emphatically.
The Vorwerk Group’s total sales volume rose by 23.9 percent to a present 3.5 billion euros in the reporting year. An impressive increase in the Group’s business volume, which also takes into account new akf group business amounting to 1.1 billion euros. With business volume in 2015 totaling 4.1 billion euros, the Group generated year-on-year growth of 23.4 percent.

German Direct Selling Vorwerk Closed 2014 With 2.8 Billion Euros

 
Vorwerk is looking back on an extremely successful fiscal year 2014. In the 131st year of the company’s history, the Vorwerk Group closed with a consolidated sales volume of 2.8 billion euros, representing a year-on-year increase of 5.8 percent – a new best result for the Wuppertal-based, family-owned company. The current year also got off to a promising start with sales at the end of the first three months of 2015 already up 19 percent on the corresponding period of the previous year.
