Longaberger Out Of Business, Thousands Of Consultants Desperate

According to a TV Station based in Colombus, Ohio, USA, Longaberger has gone out of the Direct Sales business.
Tami Longaberger, who led The Longaberger Co., a direct seller of home and lifestyle products, since her father died in 1999, resigned as chief executive officer and director of the company in 2015, followed by a lawsuit.
Longaberger parent company CVSL announced in 2015 that John Rochon Jr., vice chairman of CVSL and son of the CVSL chairman, took over as Longaberger chairman, president and CEO.
The company Dave Longaberger founded in 1973 became a $1 billion business in 2000, when it employed more than 8,200 people.
Tami Longaberger became president of the company in 1994, while her father remained as chairman. She took more of a leadership role as her father battled kidney cancer in his final years.
The Ohio, USA based company has struggled for more than a decade, with sales plummeting to roughly $100 million annually and employment dwindling to 230 employees, including 68 at its Newark corporate office, which had 500 employees shortly after it opened in 1998.

Wake Up Now – Going Out Of Business

As reported earlier about Wake Up Now (WUN) by Business For Home on May 2014, about WUN financial concens,  in October 2014, CEO Kirby Cochran stepped down,  29 Januari Wake Up Now was looking for a new investor and not paying out commissions, blaying the payment processor, it seems the company is going out of business.
The company denied earlier they were having commission payment problems however if you read WUN top earner Eric Turner statement, Business For Home was on spot.
Ten thousands of distributors are left in the dust.
Master Distributor Brandon Boyd stated on January 30:
We have never had a better back office, better compensation, better shipping, better packages, and more focused management than we have right now. We are primed between Feb. and March to be stronger than ever before in a big way. I am extremely encouraged about our future and what is about to be released next week.
However on 9 February Brandon Boyd left the company:
“As of today, after (5) years, I have made the decision to leave WUN. Its time to take my talents elsewhere.”

Bellaroma Closed Down Operations

 
According to a short message on the Bellaroma website and Facebook page this Utah based Direct Selling Company promoting the use of save candles, closed down operations.
“The decision has been made by the owners (Bart Kennington) to close Bellaroma on January 31st.
It is the hardest decision that we as the owners have made in our careers and we know it affects you.
Please accept our heartfelt empathy and understand we wish there was a way we could continue, however we have exhausted our own financial means to continue supporting Bellaroma and are no longer able to sustain what has been a significant personal financial loss to us”.
Karen Kennington stated on her Facebook page:
‘To all my Bellaroma friends, I have shed many tears since being back from our trip and shedding a few as I write this post. It is not from a loss of the company but a loss of great women.
I have watched you over the last few years and have admired your strength, your work ethic and most of all your faith in our Savior.

Jamie At Home Out Of Business

 
TV cook Jamie Oliver’s direct sales/network marketing organisation – Jamie At Home, seems to have ceased operations a couple of weeks ago.
So far, there seems to be no official announcement, leaving a couple of thousand distributors to speculate.
The only message appearing when accessing the website www.jamieathome.com is
“Unfortunately we have sold through on all products lines”. 
Basically as a distributor that puts you out of business. Seems Jamie Oliver ceased operations without any communication to the field.
The business expanded opening up in the USA, about a year ago after being establish in the UK.
Jamie Oliver appointed a husband and wife team, as CEO’s.
According to the website: “Jamie At Home is an eclectic collection of products inspired by Jamie’s relaxed approach to eating, entertaining and enjoying life available primarily through Jamie at Home self employed consultants”.
The USA website is still live, however signing up as a consultant triggers an server error.
Seems like Jamie Oliver left the reps in the dust…

Lyfestart Closes Down Business Immediately

 
According to a very short message on the LyfeStart website, the company has closed down the doors in an unexpected move.
In May 2014 Latino Industry Leader Jerry Lopez joined the company, followed by Daniel Sistrunk as Dr. David L. Katz.
LyfeStart Founder and Co- CEO Christopher Pair Garza, former President of Herbalife, commented that time:

The Freedom Fighters Network Closed Down

 
From a beach in Bali, Angela Moore and Jordan Schultz, founders of The Freedom Fighter Network, told the world about their revolutionary system that was “guaranteed” to make you money.
The opportunity was launced in July 2014, Their Freedom Fighters Facebook group had 11,000+ members and an estimated 25,000+ marketers invested in the system.
Schultz and Moore closed down their operations in an unexpected move, leaving numerous affiliates in the dust. The reason seems to be a possible bankruptcy, so the owners decided not to pay out affiliates anymore, take the money and “jump ship”.
