WorldVentures Foundation Sends Largest Volunteer Contingent At Heartstrings Walk 2017

The WorldVentures Foundation is a non-profit organization with a mission to create positive change in the lives of children all over the world.
Since 2010, the organization has been enriching the lives of children worldwide through sustainable programs that promote health, safety, and development.
Returning for its seventh consecutive year, the Heartstrings Walk in Singapore consisted of a 4-kilometre charity walk, 57-storey vertical marathon up the iconic Marina Bay Sands and a family carnival.
With thousands of participants, volunteers, and beneficiaries, the event signified Singapore’s positive action towards building a society of inclusiveness.
Around 200 volunteers from WorldVentures Foundation walked with beneficiaries of Community Chest Singapore in a 4-kilometre fun walk around the picturesque Marina Bay area in an effort to raise awareness and support for underprivileged communities in Singapore.

This mark the largest contingent of volunteers for Singapore Local Volunteer day thus far.
Since 2010, WorldVentures Foundation has set out to create a positive impact for children around the world.
They teamed up with like-minded organizations and have helped 100 communities so far, enriching children’s lives through sustainable programs that promote health, safety and development.
The donations raised during the Heartstrings Walk 2017 will be channelled to local charities supported by the Foundation in the Asia Pacific

Long Beach Receives New DreamCourt In Partnership With WorldVentures Foundation

 
Recently, the California children served by the Boys & Girls Club of Long Beach celebrated optimism with the grand opening of a new DreamCourt™ at the Freeman E. Fairfield/Westside Center. Through a collaboration among WorldVentures Foundation™ and Nancy Lieberman Charities and Sport Court® children are now able to learn team-building skills and have a safe place to play sports. Optimistic lifestyle brand Life is Good donated more than $50,000 to build the court, along with actress Leah Remini headlined the grand opening event.
“I’m honored and humbled that Leah Remini and Life is Good are rallying behind this effort,” said Nancy Lieberman, Basketball Hall-of-Famer, NBA coach and founder of the Nancy Lieberman Charities. “Together we can bring a renewed sense of vitality and community to children and families in the area.”

WorldVentures Foundation: Empowering Children In South Africa

 
 
Consider this: a staggering 3.7 million children under the age of 18 are currently orphaned in South Africa due to HIV. For others, their families are unable to care for them financially. Couple that with malnutrition (currently at an all-time high in South Africa), and you have very critical issues that need to be brought to the forefront.
The WorldVentures Foundation™ (WVF), the philanthropic arm of WorldVentures, wanted to take an active role in helping those affected by these crises. So in February 2014, WVF collaborated with Botshabelo Community Development Trust for its first ever South African Service Day.
The event’s purpose was clear—to help educate and nourish children in South Africa. With that in mind, both organizations teamed up with Sizanani Children’s Home, an organization dedicated to developing, empowering and caring for people with disabilities, and Prettify Your Township, a project focusing on beautifying pre-schools in dilapidated conditions to encourage learning, to renovate a daycare building and a foster home, while developing a food garden in the community of Olievenhoutbosch, Gauteng to combat these issues and provide an effective solution.
