ViSalus Offers Shares – Equity To Distributors

 
The ViSalus Co-Founders, Ryan Blair, Blake Mallen and Nick Sarnicola, have often maintained that “equity” is the most valuable asset one can have in business. Starting in 2015 they made 6% of the shares available for distributors.
According to the ViSalus website:
“Beginning in 2015, the year we celebrate our 10th year, leading Promoters will have an opportunity to earn from a special Founders’ Equity Incentive Plan and share in the company’s future success together.
The Founders Equity Incentive Plan provides Promoters with an ownership opportunity equivalent to 6% of the company, awarded over 2 years (3% allocated in 2015, and 3% allocated in 2016).
The Plan is shared among 4 Equity Groups, based on your Paid Rank each month.

ViSalus Honored With Highly-Acclaimed W3 Award

 
ViSalus’ Content Marketing department received an esteemed 2014 W3 Silver Award in Copywriting for its Vi Blog and its blog extension program, the Vi Today’s Share.
The W3 Awards honor creative excellence on the web, and recognize the professionals behind the creative and marketing teams of the award-winning sites, marketing programs, social content and mobile sites. In its ninth year, W3 is the major web competition where companies submit content to be sanctioned and judged by the Academy of Interactive and Visual Artists (AIVA), an invitation-only, membership-based organization of leading web professionals.
More than 4,000 entries worldwide were submitted — many from Fortune 500 companies and international agencies and firms. Entries were judged by the AIVA in four categories with criteria upholding a high standard of excellence.

ViSalus Honors National Childhood Obesity Awareness Month

 
To help kids begin their own journey to a healthier lifestyle, ViSalus, Inc. honored National Childhood Obesity Awareness Month this past September with a special double-donations initiative through their PROJECT 10™ Kids charity program. This double-donation incentive generated more than 65,000 kids meals and snacks donated to those in need.
PROJECT 10 Kids provides the Vi Community an opportunity to share the benefits of achieving a healthier weight with the next generation. When Vi Promoters and Customers lose 10 lbs. or add 10 lbs. of lean muscle during their PROJECT 10™ Challenge, the company donates 30 nutritional meals to a child in need through PROJECT 10 Kids.
“At ViSalus we have donated a total of over 4 million meals to families in need,” said Ryan Blair, Vi Co-Founder and CEO. “This includes over 65,000 as a result of our double-donations in September—the equivalent to over 2,000 kids meals and snacks a day.”

ViSalus Kicks Off 2015 New Year’s Health Resolution With World’s Largest Simultaneous Group Workout On January 3

 
 ViSalus is jumpstarting New Year’s health and fitness resolutions in record-setting fashion with the World’s Largest Simultaneous Group Workout. The headline-making event will take place January 3, 2015 at 12 p.m. in thousands of locations across 11 countries worldwide.
ViSalus, recognized in 2012 for the World’s Largest Simultaneous Flash Mob with celebrity Alfonso Ribeiro, is determined to break another world record with this historic event that anyone can be a part of by simply showing up.

ViSalus’ International Expansion Initiative Launches in the Netherlands, Sweden, Finland and Spain

 
ViSalus’ international expansion initiative supplies solutions for the growing European demand for healthier living by continuing its commitment to open four new Vi markets by year-end 2014. Vi Ireland launched in June, the Netherlands, Sweden and Finland in October, and Spain opened for shipping November 14th, completing Vi’s global expansion ahead of schedule.  

“We have made a global commitment to bring our healthy living efforts, which have already transformed more than 3 million lives in North America, to many European fronts,” said Ryan Blair, ViSalus Co-Founder and CEO. “Our goal is to Challenge these countries to create healthy living lifestyles for generations to come.”

Industry Veterans, Todd And Christina Perry, Return To ViSalus: “We’ve Come Home.”

 
A lot can change in a year. Just ask Todd and Christina Perry. As longtime network marketers, this power couple from North Carolina has seen their fair share of opportunities, learning experiences and challenges. And the past 12 months, in particular, have brought many of them—some of which were quite painful.
In November 2013, Todd and Christina, who had joined ViSalus in June 2011 and were 5-Star Ambassadors, decided to leave the company to pursue other interests and opportunities. “When we initially came aboard, we were in a partnership with another couple,” says Christina. “But, it wasn’t a healthy business relationship with them, and we became disillusioned.
