It was the 9th National Convention with Ambit Energy in Dallas, Texas, USA. The company provides electricity and natural gas services in deregulated markets across the United States, primarily marketed through a direct sales channel of more than 250,000 Independent Consultants. Revenue topped $1 billion.

Steve, how did you got involved in the MLM industry, who “pitched you'” and is he/she still involved and why were you interested in the business model?
I was first recruited back in the 80s into Herbalife. I owned an Insurance Agency and one of my customers asked me to try the product. I liked it.
