When Shinya Kada started PartnerCo business in March 2024, he set two goals. First, he wanted to become the highest title in Japan, and then achieve the highest title in the world. It took him 11 weeks to achieve the first goal, advancing to Chairperson Level 5.
Before committing to join Partner.Co, Kada-san — a 30-year industry veteran — wanted to meet with its founders, CEO Darren Zobrist and Chief Brand Partner Officer John Wadsworth. It was meeting with them, Kada-san said, that sealed the deal for him.
“In this industry, no matter how good the company’s products and plans are, if the owner or owners are not good, then the company isn’t going to be good,”
Kada-san said.
Beyond their complementary nature — Zobrist, a former Wall Street financier, and Wadsworth, a 25-year industry veteran with the same company — Kada-san said that one thing that appealed to him was their closeness in age.
“Because we are so close in age, we can do business together for 20 or 30 years, That was a really compelling factor to me. I look forward to doing business together, not only five years but 20 or 30 together.”
