“I grew up in a small town in Central Java called Purworejo Regency in Indonesia and had dreams of going to college in a big city. After graduating from high school, my parents told me they didn’t have the money to pay for school and I was on my own.
There weren’t many opportunities in my small town, so I moved to the nearest big city, which was Jakarta, enrolled in school, and took any job I could get to help pay for it. I delivered newspapers until I found an entry-level office job and then eventually became a car salesman.
