Plexus Worldwide Agrees To Pay $600,000 To Resolve Alleged False Claims

United States Attorney Gary M. Restaino announced today that Plexus Worldwide, LLC (Plexus), an Arizona limited liability corporation that directly markets health and wellness products, agreed to pay $600,000 to resolve allegations that the company violated the federal False Claims Act (FCA).
The settlement resolves allegations by the United States that Plexus presented mail to the United States Postal Service (USPS) for delivery with postage that was based upon and calculated with attributes not associated with the items mailed, which resulted in underpaid postage.
The United States also alleged that Plexus mailed other items with re-used postage. According to the United States’ allegations, the postage Plexus affixed to the mailed items represented that postage had been appropriately paid, when in fact, it had not, and the misrepresentations facilitated Plexus’ underpayment or non-payment of postage.
“The Postal Service is a unifying force in America,” said United States Attorney Restaino.
“It has always delivered mail through snow and rain and heat and ‘gloom of night’; during the pandemic it delivered free masks to protect our Nation; and it increasingly connects our fellow citizens with access to the ballot box for local, state and federal elections. Plexus Worldwide Sales Down 9% To $454 Million In 2022

Plexus Worldwide, a leading health and wellness company based in Scottsdale, released impressive numbers and milestones following a successful year for the company, its Brand Ambassadors, and nonprofit partners.
In 2022, the company shipped more than 3.2 million orders to customers worldwide and generated more than $454 million in total gross sales.
This success was fueled in part by the launch of 12 new products, including Plexus Reset™, a 3-day nutritionally supported fast that is designed to help revitalize, restore, and reset the body’s metabolism and provide optimal nutrition.
More than 7,500 Brand Ambassadors attended the company’s signature event in Columbus, Ohio this past June at the 2022 Ignite convention. Plexus Worldwide Appoints Gene Tipps As CEO

Plexus Worldwide has appointed Gene Tipps to be the health and wellness company’s new Chief Executive Officer, effective October 3, 2022. Founders Tarl Robinson and Alec Clark will shift into new roles with the launch of a new strategic council.
Robinson transitioned from his role as CEO at the end of September while Clark will remain on until early 2023, ensuring a smooth changeover.
Tipps joined Plexus® in 2018 as Chief Operating Officer. He was the driving force behind the delivery of over 30 new products and expanded Plexus Worldwide’s reach into new and emerging markets.
Last year, Tipps was promoted to President of Global Operations, overseeing all areas of the company’s operations and information technology at both domestic and international levels. Plexus Worldwide Achieves $562 Million In Revenue In 2017

Plexus Worldwide (Plexus), a worldwide, leading direct-selling health and wellness company focused on health and happiness, was recognized by Direct Selling News as the #39 globally on its List of Top Revenue Generating Direct Selling Companies. 
The ranking is based on 2017 revenue reported by each company, with Plexus coming in at $562 million.
The DSN Global 100 is a collective effort to show the impact and potential of the $184 billion direct selling channel. The 2018 ranking, unveiled online at DirectSellingNews.com and featured in the June issue of Direct Selling News (DSN) magazine, represents aggregate revenue of more than $82 billion from companies based in 17 countries.  The DSN ranking shows growth for Plexus, which increased revenue by $30 million over the previous year while maintaining its ranking.
