The D. Gary Young, Young Living Foundation raised more than $1 million to help end modern slavery in Africa during the Young Living Foundation’s Ride for a Reason, Foundation 5k, and other activities at the Young Living Essential Oils 2018 International Grand Convention.
All funds raised will go to support Hope for Justice, a nonprofit that exists to bring about the end of modern slavery by preventing exploitation, rescuing victims, restoring lives, and reforming society.
“D. Gary Young dedicated his life to improving the lives of all people; and through The D. Gary Young, Young Living Foundation, Young Living’s compassionate members have generously given to help some of the most isolated and vulnerable communities around the world,” said Jared Turner, president and chief operating officer of Young Living Essential Oils.
“I want to thank our members, Scott and Brenda Schuler, who chose to do something larger than themselves by launching the Ride for a Reason fundraising campaign that brought the Young Living family together and assisted in raising over $1 million to support Hope for Justice and help rescue the victims of human trafficking.”
Starting with Uganda, the Foundation will immediately fund three Hope for Justice Lighthouses, each of which will provide trauma care,

Isagenix Legacy Foundation Raises $2.3 Million At Global Celebration Event
by Nicole Dunkley • • 0 Comments
Thanks to the generosity of Isagenix and the company’s independent distributors, customers, and employees, the newly established Isagenix Legacy Foundation raised $2.3 million during its first 24 hours of fundraising, exceeding the $2 million goal.
100 percent of the donations will fund grants to nonprofit organizations that further the Foundation’s mission to provide healthy nutrition for underserved children, wellness education for all, and aid for those affected by natural disasters.
“Jim and I are so moved by how the Isagenix family has embraced the Foundation,” said Kathy Coover, Isagenix co-founder and executive vice president. “Our company and those connected to it have a long history of contribution, so we knew we would see a positive response, but people have truly gone above and beyond. Together, we will demonstrate the power of collective impact to leave an enduring legacy in communities around the world.”
That collective impact was clearly demonstrated during the Foundation’s Aug. 6 launch at the Isagenix Global Celebration 2018 event in Nashville, Tennessee. While onstage, the Coovers pledged to match every dollar raised for the Foundation during the first 24 hours of fundraising, up to $1 million. Due to the impressive response, the Coovers are donating $1 million.

With a mission to positively impact the lives of children through nutrition and education, along with Herbalife’s purpose to making the world healthier and happier, the Herbalife Family Foundation (HFF) recently announced it raised $1.8 million at its annual Gala fundraiser to support more than 130 nonprofit partners in 50 countries around the world.
Through its “Casa Herbalife” program, HFF commits ongoing support to its charity partners, which include orphanages, community centers and hospitals, to help them improve children’s lives by providing healthy nutrition.
“Thanks to the generosity of Herbalife’s independent distributors and employees, the Herbalife Family Foundation will provide vital nutrition and support services to children who need it the most around the world,” said HFF President Alan Hoffman.
The Casa Herbalife Program, established in 2005, currently serves more than 100,000 children at over 130 organizations in more than 50 countries, helping provide healthy and nutritious meals to children in orphanages, after school centers, and other nonprofit facilities around the world. HFF’s work continues to expand in 2018, with the addition of three new Casa Herbalife partners located in Austria, Switzerland and Ghana.
Last year, in addition to thousands of volunteer hours, HFF granted more than $3 million to Casa Herbalife programs and disaster relief efforts around the world.
