7,000 Maelle Beauty distributors (mentors) are in shock, due to a legal dispute with Younique products, the company has to cease business for 5 months.
Maelle Beauty was founded by Chris Welch former VP of International Marketing for Younique, and Ros Simmons, former CEO of Virgin Cosmetics & former Product manager for The Body Shop.

Stemtech International Files For Bankruptcy – Thousands Of Distributors in Shock

 
Stemtech International, is an USA based network marketing company and offers “innovation, wellness and prosperity” in the global marketplace with a patented and patent-protected line of all-natural nutritional products that can be purchased only from Independent Business Partners.
In 2015 the company had a revenue of $52 million in 2016 $43 million.
This month Stemtech’s CEO and founder Ray Carter has filed for Chapter 11 bankruptcy, leaving thousands of distributors in the dust.
According to Stemtech reasons for the bankruptcy is a long lasting and lost lawsuit against Andrew Paul Leonard a photographer of stem cells, as a lawsuit against a supplier of raw materials Cerule. Total amount creditors is approx. $5 million.

Silpada Design Jewelry Shutting Down

 
Three years after buying back its company from Avon, a Silpada Designs says the Lenexa family-owned business is beginning the process of closing down.
Silpada Designs was founded by Jerry and Bonnie Kelly and Teresa Walsh. It began as a home party jewelry business but quickly expanded far beyond Lenexa, Kansas, USA.
In 2010, Silpada Designs sold their company to Avon Products Inc. for $650 million, but bought it back for a fraction of that at $85 million in 2013, according to the KC Business Journal.
In a news release sent out Tuesday afternoon, Silpada’s Vice President of Marketing, Andrea Carroll, says independent representatives will have through July 31st to sell Silpada jewelry and earn commissions.

Sozo Global restructures and that triggers a lot of rumors. Canadian third party logistics provider MMP Enterprises has moved to seize inventory and liquidate via auction in an effort to recover invoices defaulted on for services performed.
