According to The Financial Markets Authority :
“Te Mana Tātai Hokohoko (FMA) regulates New Zealand’s financial markets. We were established in 2011 as an Independent Crown Entity.”
On their website the FMA in New Zealand stated:

“Our statutory duty is to promote and facilitate the development of fair, efficient, and transparent financial markets; and to promote the confident and informed participation of businesses, investors, and consumers in the financial markets.
We recommend caution when dealing with Eaconomy LLC/Eaconomy, or any individual or entity promoting its services or products. Eaconomy is the subject of multiple warnings from overseas regulators including”:

The Financial Supervisory Authority of Norway, which has warned about Eaconomy as a Pyramid scheme and an unauthorised business
Eaconomy LLC- Financial Supervisory Authority of Norway

“The Financial Supervisory Authority of Norway (Finanstilsynet) points out that Eaconomy LLC (Eaconomy) is not authorized to provide investment services in Norway and therefore does not have the necessary approval under Norwegian law. The company is consequently not subject to Finanstilsynet’s supervisory oversight, nor has Finastilsynet approved the services offered by the company.”

Avon Closes Down In Australia And New Zealand After 50 years 21,000 Reps In Shock

In a statement, the company confirmed Avon would close its operations in Australia and New Zealand by the end of the year, leaving the company’s 220 staff and more than 21,400 representatives facing an uncertain future.
The statement read:
“As part of the company’s strategy to return Avon to long-term sustainable profitable growth, the focus will be on markets with the greatest potential for future growth to support its vision of becoming the world’s leading social beauty company.
“In line with this, after a thorough deliberation on our performance, the direct selling conditions in the market, and potential for growth, we have considered all options for the business and it is with much sadness that we are announcing our decision to exit the Australia and New Zealand markets.”
Current and former Avon reps have bombarded the Avon Facebook page with messages of disapproval.
Avon ANZ president and managing director Sharon Plant said it was a “sad day” for the company’s employees and representatives.
“As a management team our commitment and focus over the coming days, weeks and months is to support our people and the wider Avon community who are impacted by this decision,” she said.

New Zealand To Host 10,000 Elite Amway Distributors

 
A New Zealand resort town is celebrating winning a bid to host a series of meetings for Michigan-based Amway Corp.’s China affiliate.
It’s considered a major tourism victory for the island country in the southwestern Pacific Ocean.
Queenstown will host 10,000 elite Amway China distributors for what is being described as a series of five-day incentive trips in the last half of 2018.
The tourism contract is such a big windfall that New Zealand Prime Minister John Key, who does double duty as Minister of Tourism, announced the contract last week during a visit to China.
