Modere’s Second Quarter 2018 Surpasses Growth Expectations

Building on a notable momentum going into 2018 and delivering on its commitment to meet the year’s next growth objectives, Modere, the first social retailer to create a safe and forward-thinking approach to overall wellness, today reports that it is rocketing into the latter half of the year with second quarter results that outpace second quarter 2017 growth rates in its key markets by double and triple-digit growth rates.
Measured year over year, the company’s second quarter revenue growth in Europe alone increased by 801.2%. Australasia (Australia and New Zealand) grew by 50.5%, thanks in part to New Zealand’s 174.1% spurt.
Likewise, Canada’s stellar 179.7% second quarter year-to-date growth coupled with the United States’ rate of 6.9% to bring the North American market to a total combined year-to-date gain of 11.2% versus the same period in 2017.

Asma Ishaq, CEO of Modere, Receives 2018 Rice University Award

Modere, a healthy, safe and clean-lifestyle brand of dietary supplements, household and personal-care products with a presence worldwide, today announced that its Chief Executive Officer, Asma Ishaq, has been awarded the 2018 Rice Business Alumni Industry Excellence Award in Entrepreneurship.
Ms. Ishaq will be presented the award on Friday, September 7, at the Rice Business Alumni Awards banquet dinner. She received a dual M.B.A. in finance and marketing from Rice University in 2002 as a Ben F. Love scholar.

Asma Ishaq, CEO Of Modere, Elected To Direct Selling Education Foundation

Modere today announced that Chief Executive Officer (CEO) Asma Ishaq has been elected to the Board of Directors of the Direct Selling Education Foundation (DSEF).
Joseph N. Mariano, president of the Direct Selling Association and sitting member of the DSEF, said of Ishaq’s election, “We welcome Asma to the DSEF Board. I am confident her talents as a direct selling corporate leader will be great assets as the Foundation pursues its mission of mainstreaming understanding of the channel and reaching more than 60,000 students per year with an accurate understanding of direct selling.”
An active leader in the space, Ishaq was appointed CEO of Modere in January of this year after leading her company, Jusuru International, Inc., through its acquisition by Modere in February 2017. Previously, Ishaq served on the Board of Directors of the Direct Selling Association, the parent industry association of the DSEF.

She succeeds Robert S. Conlee, who will become the company’s Chairman.
Ms. Ishaq has significant experience in skincare and nutritional supplement manufacturing, product development and formulation, across multiple distribution channels.
