At this year’s five-day event, LegalShield’s new and experienced Independent Sales Associates will come together from all 50 states and Canada to engage with leading expert speakers, receive specialized professional development training and find crucial networking opportunities.
Among the keynote speakers is Jack Canfield, award-winning author of the “Chicken Soup for the Soul” series and a leader in personal development and peak performance strategies. Arkansas Attorney General Leslie Rutledge will speak of her crusade for equal access to justice.
LegalShield’s top executives, including CEO Jeff Bell, will also deliver remarks to the crowd, expected to exceed 8,000.
The 2018 We Are LegalShield Convention will also include professional training sessions organized into four tracks of four courses each, covering the fundamentals of business to business sales, network marketing, technology/product and personal development. Stone Point Capital To Acquire LegalShield

LegalShield, the #1 subscription-based provider of legal plans and a leading provider of identity theft solutions, announced today that funds managed by private equity firm Stone Point Capital LLC (“Stone Point”) have entered into a definitive agreement to acquire a majority interest in LegalShield from funds controlled by MidOcean Partners (“MidOcean”).
The deal is expected to close in the second quarter of 2018. Financial terms of the transaction were not disclosed. LegalShield’s management will be co-investing alongside Stone Point and MidOcean, which is retaining a minority stake in the business. The current management team, business model and employee base are not expected to change with this investment. The Company’s headquarters will remain in Ada, Oklahoma.

LegalShield, one of North America’s leading providers of affordable legal plans and the IDShield identity theft solution for individuals, families and small businesses, announced today that it has grown its membership base to exceed 1,751,000 members, adding over 52,000 new memberships in January 2018.
In January, LegalShield continued its pace of adding new memberships to the base and achieved a 14th straight month of record high active members.
In addition to the record high in memberships, the company’s Business Solutions division continued its record setting December into January. It surpassed its projected monthly budget by more than 8,800 units with outstanding execution of annual enrollments for LegalShield and IDShield.

LegalShield membership reaches a new record high for thirteenth consecutive month.
LegalShield, one of North America’s leading providers of affordable legal plans and the IDShield identity theft solution for individuals, families and small businesses, announced today that it has grown its membership base to exceed 1,743,000 members, making December 2017 the best member production month in the company’s 45-year history.
In December, LegalShield continued its pace of adding new memberships to the base and achieved a 13th straight month of record high active members.
In addition to the record high in memberships, the company recruited nearly 45,000 new associates in 2017 – a 23 percent increase from 2016.
With the continued increases in production, this is also LegalShield’s ninth consecutive month of membership churn at two percent or below. Additionally, the company’s Business Solutions division surpassed its projected 2017 budget by more than 10,000 units with outstanding execution of annual enrollments for LegalShield and IDShield voluntary benefits.

In November, LegalShield continued its pace of adding new memberships to the base and achieved a 12th straight month of record high active members. In addition to the record high in memberships, the company recruited nearly 41,000 new associates this year – a 22 percent increase from 2016.
With the continued increases in production, this is also LegalShield’s eighth consecutive month of membership churn at two percent or below. The momentum the company has built is displaying positive leading indicators that foreshadow a strong year end.
