Asma Ishaq, CEO Of Modere, Elected To Direct Selling Education Foundation

Modere today announced that Chief Executive Officer (CEO) Asma Ishaq has been elected to the Board of Directors of the Direct Selling Education Foundation (DSEF).
Joseph N. Mariano, president of the Direct Selling Association and sitting member of the DSEF, said of Ishaq’s election, “We welcome Asma to the DSEF Board. I am confident her talents as a direct selling corporate leader will be great assets as the Foundation pursues its mission of mainstreaming understanding of the channel and reaching more than 60,000 students per year with an accurate understanding of direct selling.”
An active leader in the space, Ishaq was appointed CEO of Modere in January of this year after leading her company, Jusuru International, Inc., through its acquisition by Modere in February 2017. Previously, Ishaq served on the Board of Directors of the Direct Selling Association, the parent industry association of the DSEF.

AdvoCare’s Rick Loy Named To DSEF Board of Directors

 
AdvoCare International, LP (AdvoCare), a premier health and wellness company, today announced Rick Loy, Vice President of Sales and Field Development, has been selected to serve on the Direct Selling Education Foundation (DSEF) board of directors.
The DSEF is a non-profit organization aiming to educate the public on direct selling by promoting the industry’s commitment to ethics, consumer protection and self-regulation. The board consists of individuals who are corporate leaders within the industry, along with higher learning and consumer advocacy representatives.

4Life Partners with Direct Selling College Program

 
4Life has partnered with the Direct Selling Education Foundation (DSEF), the National Association for Community College Entrepreneurship, and the Salt Lake Community College to introduce a new program.
The Direct Selling Entrepreneur Program is a 30-hour noncredit course presented by the Salt Lake Community College’s division of Continuing Education. The class is designed to educate students on the benefits of direct selling as a part-time business and full-time career.
