Isagenix Raises Over $500,000 For Make-A-Wish

 
Isagenix International, a global health and wellness company, ended its annual Celebration 2015 Breakthrough event in San Diego today by raising more than $565,000 for Make-A-Wish® through fundraising and generous Associate and corporate pledges.
Additionally, Isagenix and Make-A-Wish surprised wish kid Tanika, a 10-year-old battling leukemia, with an on-stage wish reveal. This fall, her wish to have a backyard makeover will be granted!
“We are dedicated to playing a significant role in impacting the overall health and the wellbeing of others through our support of children’s charities,” said Kathy Coover, Isagenix co-founder and executive vice president. “Our team loves to see the happiness reflected in the faces of the children and families we help, especially when they realize that we have helped to make their one true wish a reality.”

Visalus’ Nick and Ashley Sarnicola Donate $200,000 To Budding Entrepreneurs

Global Ambassador and ViSalus Co-Founder Nick Sarnicola and wife Ashley made history with a generous $200,000 donation to Muskegon Community College’s (MCC) four-year-old Entrepreneurial Studies program in Michigan, the college officially announced today. The media responded accordingly with overwhelming news and video coverage including stories that appeared on ABC, FOX and more.
Local real estate developer Jonathan Rooks donated the former Masonic Temple in downtown to the College as the new hub for entrepreneurial and related business generating activities. He tapped long time friend and West Michigan native Nick, who together with Ashley responded through their Next Generation Entrepreneurs (NextGEn) Foundation with a $200,000 permanent endowment to the Foundation for Muskegon Community

Isagenix, a global health and wellness company, ended its annual 2014 “Strength in Momentum” Celebration event in San Diego by raising $348,000 for Make-A-Wish® in less than one hour. Additionally, Isagenix and Make-A-Wish surprised wish kid Ben, an 11-year-old battling leukemia, with an onstage wish reveal. This fall, Ben’s wish to meet a platypus in Australia will be granted! 
“Isagenix is committed to improving world health through stewardship and the support of children’s charities,” said Kathy Coover, Isagenix Co-Founder and Executive Vice President. “Our team of Associates and staff are members of our family. Dick Vitale Accepts $25,000 Donation For His Charity From It Works!

 
Dick Vitale’s relentless passion for finding a cure for pediatric cancer is spreading from his home base in Lakewood Ranch to Palmetto.
The well-known ESPN college basketball broadcaster and Ranch resident recently accepted a $25,000 donation from It Works! Global for his favorite charity, The V Foundation, which raises money for pediatric cancer research.
It Works! Global, a worldwide direct sales marketer of beauty, wellness and weight loss products, headquartered in Palmetto, gave the donation to Vitale last weekend during the company’s Green Carpet Experience annual corporate sales event, which drew a crowd of 4,000 to the Bradenton area.
The company raised money by asking the sales force in attendance to make a donation in exchange for an It Works! Gives Back Foundation T-shirt. CEO Mark Pentecost has worked with Vitale in the past through the Dick Vitale Gala for The V Foundation, which Vitale hosts every year in Sarasota. Pentecost and his wife, Cindy moved to Manatee County three years ago hoping to become involved.

Nu Skin Celebrates 30 Years

 
Nu Skin celebrated its 30th anniversary by inviting its employees and sales leaders to perform local service aimed at helping children in need. The anniversary month kicked off with the company’s annual Force for Good Day and continued with 30-days of giving through June. With the aim of creating smiles for children in need, the Nu Skin family’s local outreach efforts ranged from assembling thousands of education kits to reaching out to chronically ill children.
