Amway Continues To Make Changes In Their Indian Market

 
In May 2013, shock and a pall of gloom descended over the Indian operations of Amway, the direct selling firm whose portfolio includes shampoo and protein powder. Its expat managing director William Pinckney along with two other senior leaders were arrested and taken to jail on allegations of “cheating distributors and unethical circulation of money.”
This was followed by yet another round of arrests of Pinckney and a couple of others lasting over two weeks, the direct selling industry facing litigation, apprehensive employees and distributors looking for other employment options and the growth momentum winding down.
A few years later, a cricket match is on within the same office premises, with the man in the corner room, Anshu Budhraja, donning the wicketkeeper gloves and urging employees to give the tournament — Amway Premier League

Tomboy Tools Is Changing Their Name And Logo, Adding Products And Revamping

 
Tomboy Tools® is widening its scope with a new name and logo, new products, new categories and new marketing initiatives, the company announced today.
From now on, the company will do business under the name Project Home™, with the tag line, “Making your vision real.”  The company will continue to use the brand name Tomboy Tools for its line of tools that are designed especially for women.
CEO Janet Rickstrew said that the new company name and initiatives mark what she anticipates to be an important step in the company’s development.  “We are very excited about these actions, because we expect they will help define who we are and better show our growing scope of interest,” said Ms. Rickstrew.  “We believe that we can resonate with all women who are in tune with keeping themselves and their families safe and secure.”
