Eureka Forbes Eyes Rs 500 Crore Sales In Air Purifier Market

 
India’s Direct Selling pioneer Eureka Forbes is ramping up its distribution network and marketing initiatives to drive growth in the air purifier segment to around Rs 500 crore in five years.
The health and hygiene equipment company had launched air purifiers as early as 1995. But the market was not ready for the product at that time.

“In the recent past we are seeing good demand for air purifier with the poor air quality in different cities getting media attention. As per WHO, 1.3 million deaths are happening in India due to air-pollution related illnesses. The awareness is building up in the key cities,’ said Shashank Sinha, deputy general manager marketing, Eureka Forbes.

Kannaway Boosts Medical Marijuana Sales By 280%

 
Medical Marijuana Inc, the parent company of Kannaway, billed as the world’s first direct sales company specializing in hemp based botanical products,  announced its FY2014 report, with a 280% increase in sales.
The CEO also sent a letter to shareholders updating them on the current year’s plans. Additionally, the company also launched a new website, in honor of “420” celebrations. The celebrations mark the changes in the cannabis industry, moving from illegal to legal and the realization of the truth about cannabis.
In its financial report the company reported a year over year increase of 280% in sales. Additional highlights included maintaining a credit reserve of $6 million and an increase in the capacity of merchant accounts to $20 million. German Direct Selling Vorwerk Closed 2014 With 2.8 Billion Euros

 
Vorwerk is looking back on an extremely successful fiscal year 2014. In the 131st year of the company’s history, the Vorwerk Group closed with a consolidated sales volume of 2.8 billion euros, representing a year-on-year increase of 5.8 percent – a new best result for the Wuppertal-based, family-owned company. The current year also got off to a promising start with sales at the end of the first three months of 2015 already up 19 percent on the corresponding period of the previous year.
The Vorwerk Group also generated a clear increase in its business volume, which also takes new akf group business into account, of 6.8 percent to 3.3 billion euros.
