Thirty-One Gifts has announced that Jeff Dahl has joined the company as president. At the same time, company’s founder, Cindy Monroe, will continue in her role as CEO.
“Our (former) president retired in June of 2014 … so our CEO took on that role and her title was founder, president and CEO,” said Sara West, spokeswoman for Thirty-One Gifts.
“She has developed some pretty significant, aggressive growth plans for the next three years, and so we brought (Dahl) in to help achieve those plans.”
Dahl has spent the past 12 years in the direct-selling industry, but has more than 35 years of experience working for companies including Amway, Coca-Cola and Lufthansa, according to Thirty-One Gifts.
“We’ve worked hard over the past few years to set Thirty-One on a path of long-term growth,” Monroe said in a press release.
“Jeff’s background, skill set and international experience will complement the strengths of others on our leadership team.
“With Jeff on board, I am confident we can take Thirty-One to the next level.”
Dahl was raised in Dayton and received a bachelor’s degree from Ohio State University and his MBA from the Northwestern University Kellogg School of Management.
