PURE announced the opening of a new satellite office, south of Salt Lake City, in American Fork, Utah.
The office includes modern conference rooms and a flexible, collaborative environment. The opening of this office is one additional step for the company to support the record growth it continues to experience.
Tim Hough, Vice President of International, will be one of the new occupants. From here, he will manage the continuing expansion into new international markets.

Enagic Hit By Lawsuit

Water-ionization system manufacturer Enagic is alleged to have engaged in an unlawful telemarketing campaign.
Valentina Higgins filed a complaint individually and on behalf of all others similarly situated on June 27 in the U.S. District Court for the Central District of California against Enagic USA and Does 1-10 alleging violation of the Telephone Consumers Protection Act.
According to the complaint, the plaintiff alleges that beginning in 2015, the defendant contacted her via text and phone call to solicit its products.
She alleges she has never had a business relationship with the defendant and never provided it her number.
She alleges the defendant contacted her 40 times in a 12-month period.
The plaintiffs hold Enagic USA and Does 1-10 responsible because the defendants allegedly engaged in an unlawful practice of using an autodialer to place calls to cellular phones and contacted consumers whose numbers were listed on the Do-Not-Call Registry.
The plaintiffs request a trial by jury and seek judgment against defendants, certify class action and an award of actual and statutory damages for each and every violation.

Herbalife USA Sales Leader Numbers Down 50% Over The Last 5 Years

In the USA, Herbalife sales leader numbers have dropped by 50% over the last 5 years, to a level not seen since 2005 according to analyst Gary Milne in a long article.
The conclusions:
Herbalife has been under a lot of scrutiny in the USA since the FTC order went into effect on May 1, 2017.
While North American volume points declined significantly at first, the rate of decline slowed as the year progressed.
Herbalife is boosting the North America sales leader numbers with a newly introduced “re-qualification equalization factor“.
The number of North American sales leaders is down 50% since 2015 to the level not seen since 2005.
Over 20,000 sales leaders were retained worldwide in 2018 by lowering the re-qualification standards vs. 2017.
Government regulation in India has forced significant changes in the Herbalife business model in that country.
There is no description of this “re-qualification equalization factor” in any public Herbalife document. What is being equalized is quite mysterious and left to the imagination of the reader. Is it economic disparity, geography, inflation, exchange rates, import tariffs, taxation, regulatory, or some other weighting factor?
I can find no other use of a “re-qualification equalization factor” in any other geography at any time in the past,
