Tomboy Tools® is widening its scope with a new name and logo, new products, new categories and new marketing initiatives, the company announced today.
From now on, the company will do business under the name Project Home™, with the tag line, “Making your vision real.”  The company will continue to use the brand name Tomboy Tools for its line of tools that are designed especially for women.
CEO Janet Rickstrew said that the new company name and initiatives mark what she anticipates to be an important step in the company’s development.  “We are very excited about these actions, because we expect they will help define who we are and better show our growing scope of interest,” said Ms. Rickstrew.  “We believe that we can resonate with all women who are in tune with keeping themselves and their families safe and secure.”
“We want to show women how to keep their homes organized, maintained and beautiful.  In other words, we’re taking a much more comprehensive view of our mission than simply as a seller of pink tools.”
“Our customers can share their overall vision for their homes with our Home Consultants, and we will show how we can help make that vision come true,” she added.
