Thailand Direct Sales To See 5% Growth

Thailand’s direct sales industry is expected to grow by 5% in terms of sales and the number of people entering the business in the first four months of the year.

Pakapun Leevutinun, president of the Thai Direct Selling Association (TDSA), said despite the overall economic environment, the group has seen a gradual improvement in consumer purchasing power from the start of 2016.
Both sales figures and the number of people applying to become members of direct sales companies under the TDSA are expected to grow by 5% year-on-year during the first four months of the year, bringing the tally of direct sales representatives and members in Thailand to 11.05

Infinitus China to Take 12700 People to Thailand

Direct selling company Infinitus China is set to organize a gigantic tour group of 12,700 people to Thailand, a move that will smash the record set by another Chinese firm which sent 6,400 of its employees on a grand vacation to France earlier this month.
Infinitus will book 110 flights and 400 coaches for the trip, which is estimated to bring to Thailand a tourism income of 600 million baht (US17.89 million), Apple Daily reported Thursday.
The firm, a mainland subsidiary of Hong Kong-based food giant Lee Kum Kee, is said to be arranging the six-day tour of Bangkok and Pattaya as part of a rewards scheme for its employees.

LifeVantage Corporation (Nasdaq:LFVN), has announced the expansion of its its direct selling business into Thailand.
The company has opened an office in the city of Bangkok to support this new market. The facility is designed to provide a central location where Distributors can host business-building meetings, conduct training, and host events.

Unicity Thailand Convention 2015 Attracts 50,000 Visitors

Allthough Unicity is some what under the radar in the USA and Europe, in Thailand there are record breaking numbers, I have not seen much MLM companies able to break 50,000 attendees on a convention.

Thailand To Host Unicity Meet

“Winning this mega-event will significantly enhance the country’s image and international confidence in Thailand to host events. It will also demonstrate Thailand’s potential to facilitate hosting mega-events,” Nopparat Maythaveekulchai, president of TCEB, said yesterday.
