Scentsy Announces Layoffs of 11% of Workforce

MERIDIAN, Idaho — Scentsy has announced layoffs affecting approximately 11% of its workforce as the Meridian, Idaho-based fragrance company restructures its organization to align with strategic priorities. Scentsy says the workforce reduction is part of a broader realignment aimed at supporting long-term growth and future Consultant support.
Scentsy shared the following statement: 
Scentsy has made thoughtful adjustments to its workforce and organizational structure to better align with strategic priorities. As part of this process, approximately 11% of positions were eliminated.
Scentsy Chief Executive Officer Dan Orchard shared,

“These decisions are not easy, but they were necessary to ensure the organization is structured to best support current and future Consultants and Scentsy’s long-term success. We are deeply grateful for the contributions of every impacted employee and are committed to supporting them through this transition.”

Employees affected by this realignment have been offered a compensation package aligned with their years of service, and Scentsy has provided resources to support them during this transition.

While this represents a significant moment of change for the company, Scentsy remains focused, stable, and committed to its mission of delivering fragrance experiences that connect people to memories, moments, and each other.

Scentsy’s Festive Fragrances Returns for 2025 EPCOT® International Festival of the Holidays

The 2025 EPCOT® International Festival of the Holidays started Friday, where guests can enjoy Scentsy’s Festive Fragrances: A Sensory Wonderland.
Direct-selling company Scentsy is back for its second year, featuring giant holiday ornaments infused with seasonal scents.

The garden is part of the flex space along the walkway between the Imagination! pavilion and World Showcase. A “Festive Fragrances” sign has been installed outside the garden. The shade supports have candy cane stripe wraps.

Scentsy Welcomes Local Community For 9th Annual Christmas Lights Celebration

The holiday season officially arrived in Idaho’s Treasure Valley on Friday night, as direct-seller Scentsy, the award-winning international fragrance and home décor company, welcomed hundreds of local families to its campus for the company’s 9th Annual Christmas lights celebration and tree lighting.
The free, family-friendly event has become a holiday tradition for many, featuring a 75-foot Christmas tree wrapped in more than 18,000 lights and a 250-foot light tunnel that surrounds guests in a colorful glow.
Kids and families gathered to take photos, sip warm drinks, and share what they love most about the season.

For some, the Scentsy light display has been a family tradition for years.

“We’ve been coming to the light show for 4 or 5 years now. We like going through the light tunnel,”

one community member shared. Others enjoyed the show-stopping tree:

“I love how the big Christmas tree can change colors.”

From festive lights to treasured traditions, the night highlighted what makes the season special — family, cookies, presents, and time together.

Scentsy Wins Product Innovation Award For Its Air Purifier

Scentsy Inc. was honored by the U.S. Direct Selling Association (DSA) with the Product Innovation award for the Scentsy Air Purifier at the DSA annual meeting June in Boca Raton, Florida.

DSA Announces ETHOS Awards

 
The American Direct Selling Association capped its annual meeting in San Antonio with this year’s ETHOS Awards at a Gala on Tuesday evening. The event revealed the winners of this year’s ETHOS Awards in 7 categories, as well as a new inductee into the DSA Hall of Fame.
Each year, the ETHOS Awards recognize a handful of DSA member companies for implementing programs that empower their sales force and bring greater awareness and understanding of direct selling to the general public. A panel of industry leaders and outside experts judges the entries with a focus on excellence, creativity and innovation.
Last month the DSA announced the ETHOS sub-category winners across seven categories. From those finalists, a panel of industry leaders and outside experts narrowed the selections on the criteria of excellence, creativity and innovation.
