To celebrate Women’s Month, prominent Asian direct selling company QNET hosted an exclusive women lifestyle event at the Radisson Royal hotel in Dubai. With this year’s theme “MAKE IT HAPPEN”, QNET is all out in helping develop women entrepreneurs.
Entrepreneurship is exactly about making things happen and getting things done, and women are well-known to wield this power be it in their households or in the corporate world. One of the cornerstones of QNET’s philosophy is equality.
A famous saying goes, “The hand that rocks the cradle rules the world”. More and more women are finding their true calling in selling because of their intuitive nature. They are natural-born entrepreneurs with the ability to emphatize and listen to the real needs of people around them.

RHYTHM Foundation Helps QNET Pays It Forward In Tajikistan
by Ted Nuyten • • 0 Comments
In Tajikistan, disability is stigmatised and children are sent to state institutions or hidden away at home. Indeed, social attitudes and stigma plays a significant role in limiting the possibilities for children with special educational needs, here.
Over 125,000 people are registered as special needs in Tajikistan, 19,000 are under sixteen years old and 1,447 children are registered as orphans. Approximately, 2,505 children are registered as living in twenty three different special education institutions. Alas, the data contradicts with reality, as many are not registered or have not been physically seen over the years. Hence, inconsistent, inaccurate, incomplete and out-of- date data are often the root cause of the existing issue.
Very few of these children with special educational needs attend school. Apparently, the standards don’t allow enough flexibility for students who learn differently. But, parents in Tajikistan have begun to stand up for their children’s rights. They advocate for change and betterment, lobby with schools, local authorities and ministries to facilitate the inclusion of their children into mainstream schools.
Together with Association of Parents of Disabled Children (APDC) in Dushanbe, QNET and RYTHM Foundation have embarked on a joint venture in building a tight–knit friendship across Tajikistan and Malaysia to give these

Indian Court Allows QNET Distributors To Continue Using Space At Café Coffee Day
by Nicole Dunkley • • 0 Comments
Asian direct selling company, QNET which is among companies facing a very hostile environment in India, gained a victory recently when the High Court of Karnataka ordered Café Coffee Day to remove the signage preventing QNET distributors and employees from using its premises.
Café Coffee Day, India’s pioneer and largest retail chain of coffee cafés, is a popular meeting point for many QNET distributors to meet with their teams and with prospects.
The Mumbai Police Economic Offence Wing (EOW) had instructed the Café Coffee Day chain of coffee shops in India to prevent distributors and employees of QNET and its Indian franchisee, Vihaan Direct Selling from entering its premises. EOW has been investigating QNET and Vihaan since Aug 2013 and has continued to find new ways to pursue the company and its distributors through unfair and unfounded means.
QNET’s franchisee in India filed a petition in the High Court of Karnataka against the Coffee Day order and the High Court ordered the EOW to submit its counter reasons and the instructions given to Coffee Day. In the interim period, the High Court has ordered that Café Coffee Day cannot prevent QNET distributors and its staff from entering its premises.

Global Direct Selling Company Qnet Ltd. will not pull out from India, said the founder and executive chairman of the QI Group of Companies Vijay Eswaran.
Attributing the group’s decision to stay on to “a wave of good feelings” towards business in India with the recent change of government there, he said India still remains a logical target market for the group.
Hong Kong-based QI Group is a conglomerate whose flagship company, QNET, is in the business of Direct Selling in several countries across the globe.
The Times of India, in a series of articles in 2013, had reported that QNET India was being probed for allegedly duping thousands of investors by selling them plastic and glass products that it claimed could cure diseases like cancer. According to the report, the probe came about after someone filed a First Information Report (FIR) against the company at the Economic Offences Wing of the Police Department in Mumbai. Five people, including Eswaran were reportedly named in the FIR, the report said, adding that arrests were expected soon.
In an interview with The Edge Weekly, Eswaran denied the fraud allegations, dismissing them as indicative of corruption and poor journalistic standards in India, adding that the group would
