According to an article in the New York Post, Vemma top distributors might face threads of claw backs if the FTC wins the case.

“A former top distributor for Vemma may have to fork over millions of dollars in earnings after regulators accused the energy drink maker of running a pyramid scheme that preyed on college students, legal experts told The Post.
Anthony Powell, a top distributor who left Vemma two months ago, was singled out in a report filed last week detailing the alleged scheme. He was a major player in the multilevel marketing company, which the Federal Trade Commission temporarily halted late last month pending the outcome of a Sept. 15 court hearing.

Direct Sellling Companies Complaints Poll – February 2015

Unfortunately we receive regular complaints about Direct Selling Companies with requests to publish the complaints on this website.
“I did not get paid”, “I paid for products which were never delivered”, “My company delayed payments, blaming the payment processor” etc. It would be very time consuming for us to publish all, as it requires in-depth research.
Sometimes it are isolated cases, sometimes it are signs for bankruptcy or, closing down operations such as recently Conligus, Wake Up Now, Bellamora, Jamie At Home, The Freedom Fighters Network, Votre Vu, Lyfestart, Lia Sophia.
As we report “the good, the bad and the ugly news”, a poll is an honest way to inform the industry about a company ‘s reputation and credibility. If a company does not pay out commissions, does not deliver, is terminating without cause distributors, this is the place to be and It is an alert for management to improve their operations. Buying Facebook Votes Does Not Help To Win A Poll

We consider it a compliment when people try to manipulate our polls by “buying” Facebook votes from scam artists, it shows how important those polls are for the field.
We have had a couple of attempts to bring in fake facebook votes, and those fake votes are removed.
We understand, it is very important for companies to end up high in a poll however we want the competition to be fair and will do every thing possible to keep it that way.
There are mercenaries who have created thousands of fake Facebook profiles. Often they are from Bangladesh, India or East Europe. They sell their “voting services”
However we know the Direct Selling industry and as we are logging the IP address and facebook link, both our security systems, as regular manual checks will reveal fake facebook votes.
In that case we will place the company, CEO or Rep temporarily out of competition, as we do not know if that company is buying to votes, or if it is an attempt from other people to comprise a company.

According to well informed sources, Dubli has paid $1 million sign up bonus in cash or shares for a top leader.
It brings up the insider discussion whether or not this is ethical, as team members of that paid leader will most likely not get the same deal.
