Silpada Design Jewelry Shutting Down

 
Three years after buying back its company from Avon, a Silpada Designs says the Lenexa family-owned business is beginning the process of closing down.
Silpada Designs was founded by Jerry and Bonnie Kelly and Teresa Walsh. It began as a home party jewelry business but quickly expanded far beyond Lenexa, Kansas, USA.
In 2010, Silpada Designs sold their company to Avon Products Inc. for $650 million, but bought it back for a fraction of that at $85 million in 2013, according to the KC Business Journal.
In a news release sent out Tuesday afternoon, Silpada’s Vice President of Marketing, Andrea Carroll, says independent representatives will have through July 31st to sell Silpada jewelry and earn commissions.
A Silpada dealer posted the following on their Facebook page ahead of the official announcement.

Sozo Global Restructures

 
Sozo Global restructures and that triggers a lot of rumors. Canadian third party logistics provider MMP Enterprises has moved to seize inventory and liquidate via auction in an effort to recover invoices defaulted on for services performed.
Master distributor Ken Dunn has left the company which he joined in November 2015, as president Trey Knight.
We reached out to Ken Dunn who stated:
“I resigned from the company in April due to mis-stated facts about the company.”

Seems iMarketslive is down the drain and not paying commissions any more, the company website has been down the last day several times.
International Markets Live (iMarketsLive), is founded in 2013 by President and CEO Christopher (Chris) Terry and based out of New York in the USA. iMarketsLive offers an educational trading platform (Forex) that provides an opportunity to enter into the trading industry and build a referral network.

Miche, LLC specializes in hand and shoulder bags based on a system of magnetic interchangeable bag covers and accompanying accessories.
The company was founded in 2005 by Michelle Romero and Annette Cavaness. In 2004, Romero thought of an idea to change the outside of a handbag, without physically changing the bag itself. She created a prototype by taking apart her own bag and revamping it using super glue and scrap fabric.

Ava Anderson To Re-brand And Reopen Without Founder Or Her Family

 
Ava Anderson, which was started six years ago by a 15-year-old Moses Brown School student, announced Tuesday that it will continue under a new brand and without its founder and her family.
The company, which shared a name with its founder, sold makeup, creams, soaps and other goods that were non-toxic and had no chemicals and dyes.
On its website, the company has stated that although Ava Anderson LLC is closing:
“Our capable management team with a combined 150 years of experience in the direct sales industry will re-open with a new company, brand and many of the same wonderful products that our customers have grown to love, within days of our closure next month.”
In its statement, the family said it made the decision to close the company, in part because some of their suppliers
