Oriflame Emphasizes Need for Safe Products

 
Oriflame is participating in In-cosmetics Formulation Summit in London later this month. Patrick O’Byrne, Category Director for Personal Hair care and Fragrance at Oriflame, speaking ahead of his presentation to Cosmetics Design Europe (CDE) emphasizes the need for safe, legal and relevant products.
Speaking ahead of his presentation on Sustainability and texture: regulatory update and alternatives to microbeads, Patrick O’Byrne, says there are a number of drivers for reformulation, that need to be observed.
He says some are compulsory, such as safety or legislative changes, whereas other reasons are driven by changes in the market, such as competitors’ movement, consumer tastes and habits changing, as well as new materials becoming available.

Direct Sales Company Oriflame Beats Expectations With Q2 Operating profit Increasing 4%

 
The company’s operating profit fell to 29.6 million euros, which beat a mean forecast by a Reuters panel of analysts of 28.7 million. In other news, local currency sales decreased by two per cent, while Euro sales decreased by three per cent to 301.0 million Euros in the three months ended 30 June 2015. The number of active consultants also dropped, falling six per cent to three million.
Adjusted net profit amounted to 11.9 million Euros (€12.1m) and adjusted EPS amounted to €0.21 (€0.22) (Adjusted for non-recurring items of €3.2m in the second quarter 2015). Net profit was €9.1m (€10.8m) and EPS €0.16 (€0.19).
In other financial news, Oriflame signed a new Revolving Credit Facility in April amounting to 110 million Euro in total with its existing core relationship banks which replaces the previous

Forever Living And Oriflame Head To Singapore For 2015 Incentives

 
Singapore is seeing a renewed interest in incentive business, hosting brands including Forever Living and Oriflame next year.  Forever Living will hold its global rally in Singapore next April with 3,000 representatives travelling to the region for a packed itinerary that includes a day of fun on the island of Sentosa, where representatives will have unlimited access to attractions such as Universal Studios Singapore and S.E.A. Top Actress Huma Qureshi To Endorse Oriflame India’s Colour Cosmetics

 
Actress Huma Qureshi has been signed as the ambassador of colour cosmetics section of direct selling brand Oriflame India.
The ‘Gangs of Wasseypur’ star, dressed in a black gown with curled hair and red lips, sashayed down the ramp as she was announced as the face of the colour cosmetics section of the brand here Wednesday.
She also launched the brand’s new range called ‘The One’, which comprises Oriflame The One Everyday Beauty, Oriflame The One Long Wear and Oriflame The One High Impact.
“It’s beauty with responsibility. The company works with women and empowers them so that appealed to me,” Huma said about the Sweden-based company here.
Asked what beauty product she is addicted to, she said: “Mascara. I can’t leave home without it. It makes my lashes look better.”
