dōTERRA Announces David Stirling’s Return as Chief Executive Officer

Pleasant Grove, Utah — dōTERRA International, the global leader in essential oils and natural wellness, announced that company founder David Stirling has officially returned to his role as Chief Executive Officer, effective immediately.
Stirling previously stepped away from the CEO position in 2022 to serve a mission for The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints in Armenia and Georgia. During his three-year absence, he remained closely connected to dōTERRA as a member of the board of directors.
Since returning last summer, Stirling has reconnected with teams across the organization, reinforcing his deep commitment to the company’s mission, people, and purpose.

Zinzino Completes Acquisition of Truvy, Increasing North America, Latin America, South Korea Distribution

Zinzino (Zinzino AB) announced its letter of intent earlier this month to acquire the North American direct sales company Truvy. Zinzino has now completed the acquisition process and thereby acquired the rights to Truvy’s distributor database and associated customer register, inventory, and IP rights. In addition to the assets, 100% of the shares in Truvy’s South Korean subsidiary have been acquired to accelerate the establishment process and increase distribution power in the country.
This is another strategically important step in Zinzino’s growth plans, which focus on improving personal health and well-being on a global level with innovative biotechnology and a groundbreaking product portfolio marketed through direct sales.
Truvy is a global direct sales company in the health segment, operating in North America, Latin America, and South Korea. Its brand portfolio offers a range of innovative products in the areas of health and weight loss.
The business has a total annual turnover of approximately USD 12 million. This is another strategically important step in Zinzino‘s growth plans, which focus on improving personal health and well-being on a global level with innovative biotechnology and a groundbreaking product portfolio marketed through direct sales.
Bodē Pro is a global direct sales company in the health segment, operating primarily in North America and Japan. Its brand portfolio offers a range of innovative products in the health and wellness sector.
The business has a total annual turnover of approximately USD 7 million. The collaboration with Zinzino is expected to add growth through the synergies that arise in the joint networks, combined with Zinzino’s test-based product concept and Bodē Pro’s innovative product range. Profitability through the transactions will thus be able to develop well by utilizing Zinzino’s existing technical platform and organization.
The partnership will also accelerate Zinzino’s expansion in Japan, one of the most sought-after markets in the direct sales industry. Approximately 55% of Bodē Pro’s total revenue currently comes from the Japanese market.

Modere recently today announced Craig J. Colyar as the company’s new General Manager of North America. Colyar replaces Justin Serra, who was appointed to Senior VP of Global Sales & Marketing in April of this year.

Avon Looking To Sell North American Business

 
Avon Products has postponed its analyst day, and reports say the company is exploring strategic alternatives. Yahoo Finance has reported that Avon is looking to sell its North American business. This comes after a long downhill slope in sales and business and a difficult 2014 news wise after leaving the DSA. 
Wall Street Journal also reports: 
Avon Products Inc. is exploring options including a sale of the company or its struggling North American business, people familiar with the matter said, an acknowledgment that its problems are more than skin deep. 
The door-to-door beauty company, with $8.9 billion in annual sales and more than a century of history, has tried without success for years to repair weak financial results and stem an exodus from its ranks of sales representatives.

Zija International will begin its Life Unlimited Academy this weekend. The Life Unlimited Academy is a training tour designed to help the company’s distributors become more business-savvy, better business builders, and to get valuable leadership training from Zija’s top-field leaders.
With 10 stops around North America, they are hoping to reach a large portion of their distributors to help assist them in growing their personal Zija businesses.
