India Considering Single Agency To Lead Ponzi Investigations

An Indian inter-ministerial group evolving a legal framework to protect investors against frauds by ponzi operators is now working on how a single agency can take lead in investigating cases most of which are spread across states.
Central agencies like CBI are capable of taking up inter-state investigations. But they can only be handed over cases either on the request of the state governments or orders of a court.

Various options are being considered, said sources in know of the development.
The committee is mandated to work out a new set of Standard Operating Procedures (SOP) to be followed by the government for central

“The Most Interesting Man In The World” Was An MLM’er

In a recent Forbes Life interview, ‘the most interesting man in the world’, Jonathan Goldsmith, reveals that not only is he a network marketer, but a successful one at that;

“Life doesn’t always imitate art, but when it does, it prefers Jonathan Goldsmith.” So might run a tagline for Mr. Goldsmith, the actor whose own storied career bears uncanny resemblance to that of his most famous character: The Most Interesting Man In The World. The character is the wildly popular spokesman for the Dos Equis beer brand, who signs off every commercial with his own very similar catchphrase. But while Goldsmith’s list of achievements is impressive – everything from saving multiple people from death, to befriending Barack Obama – it encompasses a rags-to-riches-to-rags-to-riches story that’s even more engrossing than his aspirational alter-ego.

“I promise I’m not the most interesting man in the world,” Goldsmith is

What All MLM’s Need To Take Away From The Vemma VS FTC Case

The results came in from Judge Tuchi regarding the Vemma hearing this week and it was met, not surprisingly, with an array of comments — mostly people misreading the information. While the ruling was far from victorious in this case, it can certainly be victorious for the network marketing industry if taken seriously. The largest component in MLM in the past has been the recruiting tactics involve in building a team, mostly met with animosity from the outside world. This was prevalent in the hearing on Tuesday when incentives, the 70/30 rule, autoship, and income claims were mentioned time and time again.
Will companies take this seriously and overhaul their approach? If so, who will be first? Some changes the FTC would most like to see, based on their testimony is the following;
