These are the last words ever to be spoken to me about 3 weeks ago by the love of my life, Chip Macgill.
At about 12:30 am last night, I had the chance to be by his side, hold his hand, caress his handsome face, and help him walk through the door towards his new life.
“Thank you. I love you. You’re ok. You’re safe. I love you. You’re ok. Everything’s ok.”
He gave me the final gift of helping me get back to Baltimore safely, to be protected from things he didn’t want me seeing or doing, and to bathe me in a sense of peace I can’t describe. He’s always protecting and supporting. I didn’t think it was possible to fall in love with him more, but I did…
