Recently In the center of Amsterdam ViSalus hosted the first ever European Leadership Launch Event to a packed room  of Challenge Promoters from all of our European Union (EU) countries, including the United Kingdom, Ireland, Germany, Austria, The Netherlands, Finland, Sweden and Spain, ViSalus is growing fast in Europe.

Why You Have To Attend Conventions If You Want Success

 
Often “newbies” have the question / objection “Why should I attend a convention, it cost time and money”.
The reason is simple, we at Business From Home do not know any MLM, Network Marketing / Direct Selling professional or Top Earner who reached the top ranks without attending conventions.
My own first convention in 1993 in the USA, New Orleans (I was flying in from the Netherlands) blow me away. “Wow 6,000 people all with the same dream, I was not the only one!”
You want to see / meet leadership both from the field as the corporate executives, you need the positive ambiance to strenghten your belief system, you want to meet succesfull people, hear the stories from other distributors. You will come back with a much better understanding of the company, its products and the business model.
You will have a great time at your convention, and time will fly by fast.
But don’t just go there to “see how it is” or to “check things out.”
You invested good money and time away from your family to be at the convention, so make sure you maximize the experience and get as much from it as you can.

Bellaroma Closed Down Operations

 
According to a short message on the Bellaroma website and Facebook page this Utah based Direct Selling Company promoting the use of save candles, closed down operations.
“The decision has been made by the owners (Bart Kennington) to close Bellaroma on January 31st.
It is the hardest decision that we as the owners have made in our careers and we know it affects you.
Please accept our heartfelt empathy and understand we wish there was a way we could continue, however we have exhausted our own financial means to continue supporting Bellaroma and are no longer able to sustain what has been a significant personal financial loss to us”.
Karen Kennington stated on her Facebook page:

CVSL Signs Agreement To Acquire Kleeneze

 
CVSL Inc. announced today that it has signed an agreement to acquire Kleeneze, a United Kingdom-based direct-to-consumer company.  The consummation of the acquisition is subject to certain conditions, including approval by the New York Stock Exchange MKT.
Kleeneze is one of the U.K.’s longest-operating, largest and best-known direct-to-consumer businesses.  Founded in 1923, the company has grown into a community of more than 7,000 independent distributorships, offering a wide variety of several thousand cleaning, health, beauty, home, outdoor and other products to customers across the U.K. and Ireland.  Kleeneze is a founding member of the U.K. Direct Selling Association.
Under the terms of the agreement, CVSL will purchase 100% of the shares of Kleeneze from Findel PLC.  Both the CVSL and Findel boards have approved the terms.  It is anticipated that closing will take place by the end of the First Quarter.

USANA Singapore Receives CaseTrust Accreditation

 
The USANA Health Sciences Singapore office recently had their business practices accredited by CaseTrust, the accreditation arm of the Consumers Association of Singapore (CASE).
The initiative, which is led by the Direct Selling Association of Singapore (DSAS), was kicked off in January 2014 with the intention to bring the standards of the direct selling industry in Singapore to a higher standard.
“We are proud to be one of the first direct selling companies in Singapore to receive this accreditation,” said Executive Vice President of Asia Ng Keng Hean.
“It reflects the ethical business practices which USANA and its Distributors have been promoting all these years.”
The initiative recognizes member companies that commit to give consumers a minimum cooling-off period of seven working days, during which they can seek full refund of any payment without being penalized, produce an order form at the time of sale that clearly states the direct seller’s contact details, and put in place a well-defined system to address conflicts. USANA is one of 14 companies to receive this recognition.
