Medifast Projects $74 Million Revenues in Q2

 
Weight-loss and healthy living products company Medifast that recently announced first quarter financial results is expecting a strong second half.

“We felt very good about where we ended up the first quarter and we’re projecting $0.47 in earnings in the second quarter even though we anticipate that our average advertising spend will be higher going forward,” MacDonald says.

The consensus estimate of many analysts is for the company to earn $0.45 a share in its second quarter. On the top line, Medifast said it expects revenue to be $72 million to $74 million, above the Wall Street forecast of $71 million.
In order to hit its second-quarter targets, MacDonald is counting on a turnaround in the company’s direct sales channel, which experienced a revenue decrease of 9% to $52.1 million in 2015’s first quarter compared with $57.0 million last year.

How 14 Years Old Girl Savannah Payne Got Famous In The Direct Selling Industry

 
Savannah Payne, 14 years(!) young from the USA saved $100 to travel and visit the Association Of Network Marketing Professionals convention in Dallas, USA.
She joined a networkmarketing company a few months ago, as she wanted to learn as much as possible about the profession.
Her objective was to help an other very young girl friend who had serious mental problems and here goal was to raise $275 for her girl friend so that her friend could get professional help. Therefore she made a lot of paintings to sell to the attendees.

ForeverGreen Reports 63% Increase In Q1 2015 Revenues To $17.2 Million

 
ForeverGreen Worldwide Corporation (FVRG), a leading direct marketing company and provider of health-centered products, announced financial results for the first quarter ended March 31, 2015.
First Quarter Financial Highlights

Total revenues increased 63.2% to $17,198,940, compared to $10,536,402 in the first quarter last year. The company has deferred revenue of $389,672 versus $171,885 in the comparable quarter of 2014.
Gross Profit for the quarter increased to $13,005,739 compared to $7,977,397 and Gross Profit Margins held stable at 75.6%.
Operating income was $411,813 compared to $267,002 during the quarter in 2014, a 54% increase.
Net income increased 85.2% to $335,378 or $0.01 EPS, versus $181,052 or $0.01 EPS, in Q1 2014. Net income margins increased slightly to 1.9% from 1.7%.
Net cash provided by operating activities was $186,356 for the quarter compared to $193,016 in net cash used during
