LifeVantage Announces 2015 Revenues Of $190.3 Million

 
LifeVantage Corporation today reported financial results for its fourth quarter and full year ended June 30, 2015.
Fourth Quarter Fiscal 2015 Highlights:

Revenue was flat at $45.3 million when compared sequentially to $45.2 million for the third fiscal quarter of 2015;
Revenue in the Americas increased 2.5% and revenue in Asia/Pacific decreased 5.5% on a sequential basis;
Adjusted EBITDA decreased to $3.1 million, compared to $3.3 million in the third fiscal quarter of 2015;
Completed implementation of annual cost structure improvements of approximately $4 million.  
  

Full Year Fiscal 2015 Highlights:

Revenue was $190.3 million compared to $214.0 million for the prior fiscal year;
Revenue in the Americas decreased 2.2% and revenue in Asia/Pacific decreased 28.2% compared to the prior fiscal year;
Adjusted EBITDA was $17.4 million compared to $24.5 million for the prior year;
Reduced long-term debt to $20.7 million at

$6.7 Million Dollars Spent And 8,000 Attendees Expected At Ambit Energy Conference

 
Ambit Energy is lighting up more than Dallas’ bulbs. Its annual convention, being held Sept. 2 to Sept. 5, is brightening up the city’s coffers.
According to the Dallas Convention and Visitors Bureau, Ambit’s ninth annual AMBITION conference have a $6.7 million impact to the local economy as the direct-selling energy company brings consultants from 14 states to Texas for the event.
DCVB said the number came from criteria including anticipated spending by conference participants, meeting planners and exhibitors; local, state and federal taxes generated by the event; and total hotel room nights sold for the event.
DCVB broke down its $6.7 million figure for the Dallas Business Journal. Roughly 8,000 attendees are expected to attend the conference. Between them, they are expected to rack up around $3.79 million in direct spending and $2.96 million in indirect and

The Carlyle Group To Acquire Blyth In $98 Million Deal

 
The Carlyle Group (NASDAQ: CG) and Blyth, Inc. (NYSE: BTH), a direct-to-consumer manufacturer and seller of candles and home fragrance products, today announced they have entered into a definitive agreement under which The Carlyle Group will acquire all of Blyth’s outstanding shares of common stock in a transaction valuing Blyth at $98 million, equating to $6.00 per share, which represents a premium of approximately 105 percent over the closing price of Blyth common stock on Friday, August 28, 2015 and a premium of 65 percent over Blyth’s 30-day average share price as of such date.
The transaction has been unanimously approved by Blyth’s board of directors and will be completed by means of a tender offer followed by a merger.
