Its revenue was 10.3% higher at RM241.68 million in the third quarter compared with RM219.12 million in the previous year due primarily to continuous strong momentum coupled with the successful launch of BodyKey, the Nutrilite personalised weight management programme in September 2015.
For the nine months period, net profit dropped 23.2% to RM58.85 million from RM76.62 million a year ago due mainly to higher import costs (primarily caused by a weaker ringgit and transfer price impacts), as well as product mix impacts and higher sales incentive provisions driven by higher

How Chantel Waterbury Created Chloe+Isabel

As the daughter of a struggling single mom, Chantel Waterbury had to fight for her education.
“My mom was a creative woman but struggled to hold a job due to health-related issues,” Waterbury, now 40, tells PEOPLE. “We were on and off welfare my entire childhood.” Still, she found herself in private school since her older half-brothers (whose father was wealthier) attended.
Eventually, it became clear to the school that Waterbury’s mother couldn’t pay her way. “I started to realize that there were things – good grades, good deeds – that could keep you in school,” she says. She started cleaning classrooms and tutoring younger children to pay her tuition.
When she received a scholarship to a prestigious high school four hours away from her childhood home, she knew she had to find a way

EDC bucks Amazon, Retools Home Book Sales

Pitching in on a night shift at the warehouse or offering advice on packing boxes isn’t usually in the job description for a company president and CEO.
Neither is dancing on a desk when the stock price hits a milestone. Or posting funny videos to a Facebook fan page started by two sales consultants.
But for Randall White, it’s all part of the fun at Educational Development Corp., the children’s book publisher and distributor he joined in 1983. The company took the No. 2 spot in this year’s Oklahoma Inc. rankings, up from No. 22 in 2014.
EDC sells to bookstores, online and through multi-level marketing. It’s the sole U.S. distributor of the popular, award-winning Usborne line of children’s books from the United Kingdom. The company also owns Kane Miller Publishers, an international children’s book

Cookie Lee Transforms Into ViVi

In a showroom in a Tustin business complex recently, women bustled around, looking at rings, earrings, bracelets and other fashion accessories.
Debbie Millar — clad in leather leggings and a crimson-colored top, and radiating with a crystal and gold necklace and wrist cuff — walked over to a collection featuring pearls and picked up one of the jewelry line’s latest creations.
“This is one my favorites,” Millar said.
Millar, a wife and mother of six children ranging in age from 16 to 22, is the new owner of ViVi, an accessories — primarily jewelry — company formally known as Cookie Lee.
She bought the company last year when her friend, Lee, the founder and namesake, decided to end her 23-year reign over one of the most successful home-grown success stories in Orange County.
At ViVi, stay-at-home moms
