One of the most highly respected, hardest-working women and pioneers of the industry, Clara McDermott was widely regarded as “the most successful woman in network marketing history.”
A visionary entrepreneur, Nu Skin pioneer, industry icon and beloved matriarch, Clara S. McDermott, died peacefully on Oct. 12, 2025. She will forever be remembered for her leadership, vision, and impact on network marketing – truly a “Force For Good.”
Born on Feb. 2, 1932, in Cowley, Wyoming, Clara was the seventh of 10 children, and Clara’s business acumen was evident early on. From selling cow salve door-to-door in rural Wyoming to launching a successful wig business in Utah and later thriving in nutritional supplements, she exemplified innovation and tenacity.

Zinzino Preliminary Sales Report: 48% Increase in Q3

Zinzino group revenue increased 48% in Q3, compared with the previous year.
The revenue in September 2025 for Zinzino‘s sales markets increased by 53 % and amounted to SEK 273.5 (178.7) million. Faun Pharma’s external sales decreased and amounted to SEK 3.7 (5.8) million. Overall, the Group increased revenues by 50% to SEK 277.2 (184..5) million compared with the previous year.
Revenue in Zinzino‘s sales markets increased by 54 % in the third quarter of 2025 compared with the same period last year and amounted to SEK 777.3 (504.4) million. Total revenues in the Group increased by 48% in the third quarter and amounted to SEK 786.7 (532.8) million.
Accumulated revenue for January – September 2025 increased by 54% to SEK 2,304.9 (1,494.3) million.

Zinzino Completes Acquisition of Truvy, Increasing North America, Latin America, South Korea Distribution

Zinzino (Zinzino AB) announced its letter of intent earlier this month to acquire the North American direct sales company Truvy. Zinzino has now completed the acquisition process and thereby acquired the rights to Truvy’s distributor database and associated customer register, inventory, and IP rights. In addition to the assets, 100% of the shares in Truvy’s South Korean subsidiary have been acquired to accelerate the establishment process and increase distribution power in the country.
This is another strategically important step in Zinzino’s growth plans, which focus on improving personal health and well-being on a global level with innovative biotechnology and a groundbreaking product portfolio marketed through direct sales.
Truvy is a global direct sales company in the health segment, operating in North America, Latin America, and South Korea. Its brand portfolio offers a range of innovative products in the areas of health and weight loss.
The business has a total annual turnover of approximately USD 12 million. The collaboration with Zinzino is expected to add growth through the synergies that arise in the joint networks, combined with Zinzino’s test-based product concept. DSA Advocacy Drives Historic Committee Vote: H.R. 3495 Advances as Entrepreneurs Rally on Capitol Hill

Most Significant Federal Step Since 1982 Comes as DSA-Led Delegation Meets with 100+ Lawmakers to Defend Independent Work
Direct Selling Association (DSA) announced today that the House Committee on Education and the Workforce, chaired by Rep. Tim Walberg (MI-5), successfully moved The Direct Seller and Real Estate Agent Harmonization Act out of committee, marking the most significant legislative victory for the direct selling channel in decades.
The milestone vote coincided with DSA’s annual Direct Selling Day on Capitol Hill, where 85 direct sellers and executives from 14 DSA member companies from across the country are meeting with more than 100 elected officials to highlight the channel’s impact and advocate for independent entrepreneurs.

H.R. 3495 would explicitly define direct sellers and real estate agents as independent contractors under the Fair Labor Standards Act (FLSA), harmonizing federal law with the Internal Revenue Code, which has recognized this classification since 1982. The bill provides clarity and protection for millions of Americans who build businesses in these industries, reducing legal uncertainty and strengthening entrepreneurial opportunity.

Bodē Pro is a global direct sales company in the health segment, operating primarily in North America and Japan. Its brand portfolio offers a range of innovative products in the health and wellness sector.
The business has a total annual turnover of approximately USD 7 million. The collaboration with Zinzino is expected to add growth through the synergies that arise in the joint networks, combined with Zinzino’s test-based product concept and Bodē Pro’s innovative product range.
