Immunotec Expanding, Opens New Sales Office In California

 
Immunotec Inc. (TSX VENTURE:IMM) is proud to announce the opening of its new Sales Office in Commerce, California, U.S.A. With the considerable growth of Independent Distributors and increased sales throughout the southwestern region of the United States of America, a greater need for support of the regional Independent Distributors has become apparent.
As a result, Immunotec has opened a 7,200 square foot full-service sales facility that is equipped to meet the needs of the Independent Distributors. The office officially opened for business on Monday, October 20, 2014.

“Today marks an important day in Immunotec’s history,” stated company CEO, Mr. Charles L. Warren Buffett Elects His Financial Assistant As Pampered Chef’s New CEO

 
Warren Buffett’s financial assistant, Tracy Britt Cool has been appointed as chief executive officer of The Pampered Chef, a subsidiary of Berkshire Hathaway Inc. (NYSE:BRK.A) (NYSE:BRK.B). Ms. Cool will start in her new role effective November 1, 2014.
Buffett’s comment on Cool’s appointment

“I couldn’t think of a better leadership duo at the helm of The Pampered Chef.With Tracy’s experience helping Berkshire companies reach their full potential and Doris’ passion for both The Pampered Chef’s consultants and products, I see great things in the company’s future,” said Mr. Buffett in a statement.

Cool has been working as financial assistant to Mr. Buffett at Berkshire Hathaway Inc. (NYSE:BRK.A) (NYSE:BRK.B) for five years. Some of her responsibilities at the conglomerate include conductinginvestment research, analyzing acquisition opportunities and providing advice to subsidiaries in different industries.
According to Berkshire Hathaway Inc. (NYSE:BRK.A) (NYSE:BRK.B), Ms. Cool will continue to serve as chairman of Benjamin Moore, Larsom-Juhl and Oriental Trading Company. She will also continue to serve on the board of H.J. Heinz Company.

Isagenix Man Loses Close To 300 Pounds

 
People respond in big ways when they hear the number 276, especially when it’s associated with weight loss.
Michael Thorn, 43, is one of those rare individuals who can say they have lost more than half their body weight.
Two years ago, Thorn weighed 505 pounds.
Looking back, he said faith, a plan and accountability to a coach saved his life and made him the person he is today.

“A lot of times, people that are 505 pounds, they think that it is impossible,” Thorn said. “I am proof that it can happen.”

Thorn is a celebrity in the Isagenix community.
He was the winner in the weight loss solution category of the company’s IsaBody Challenge a year ago and was invited to be on stage at a national convention in Las Vegas, Nevada where he showed off his former belt and clothing.
While on stage, Thorn talks about losing more than 100 pounds in 11 weeks.
Thorn said the products and the close-knit support community of those who market and sell them made the difference in his life.

“I was supposed to die in December of 2012 anyway,” Thorn said, pointing to the 12 medications he needed at the time. He also had struggled with prostrate cancer.
