ForeverGreen Reports 63% Increase In Q1 2015 Revenues To $17.2 Million

 
ForeverGreen Worldwide Corporation (FVRG), a leading direct marketing company and provider of health-centered products, announced financial results for the first quarter ended March 31, 2015.
First Quarter Financial Highlights

Total revenues increased 63.2% to $17,198,940, compared to $10,536,402 in the first quarter last year. The company has deferred revenue of $389,672 versus $171,885 in the comparable quarter of 2014.
Gross Profit for the quarter increased to $13,005,739 compared to $7,977,397 and Gross Profit Margins held stable at 75.6%.
Operating income was $411,813 compared to $267,002 during the quarter in 2014, a 54% increase.
Net income increased 85.2% to $335,378 or $0.01 EPS, versus $181,052 or $0.01 EPS, in Q1 2014. Net income margins increased slightly to 1.9% from 1.7%.

Avon’s Fake ‘Takeover’ Shows Poor State Of Company

 
Avon is an iconic American company that has been around for nearly 130 years. But Avon is struggling. And there’s not enough makeup in the world to make it more attractive.
Things have gotten so bleak for Avon (AVP) that investors actually pushed the stock higher Thursday following a report of a takeover offer … that turned out to be fake. 
An entity calling itself PTG Capital filed a letter with the SEC claiming that it wanted to buy Avon for $18.75 a share — nearly triple what the stock was trading at on Wednesday.

Tupperware is one of three companies to announce a new partnership with UN Women’s HeForShe program.

Amway India’s Focus On Skincare Expected To Bring 18% Growth

 
Amway India is betting big on its skin whitening range, which accounts for around 60 per cent of the Rs 7,500-crore skincare market.
The direct-selling FMCG company expects to clock an 18 per cent growth in its beauty brand Attitude on the back of its new “Be Bright” range of products. It will also invest Rs 20 crore on the marketing for Attitude, slated to be worth Rs 200 crore in three years.

Jeunesse Distributors Raise over $500k to Fight Child Poverty

 
Jeunesse is excited to share recent developments in the partnership between Jeunesse Kids and the international charity and education organization Free The Children.
Since announcing the collaboration in September 2014, Jeunesse and its worldwide network of Distributors have raised over $500,000 to support Free The Children’s Adopt a Village model, designed to empower communities to break the cycle of poverty through five key pillars: education, clean water and sanitation, health, alternative income and livelihood, and agriculture and food security.
