Industry Leader Aileen P. Galera Joins Total Life Changes

Born and raised in her native Philippines, Aileen P. Galera has made a quite impact in the MLM industry. She came to the United States in 1990 with next to nothing, except her character, drive and a glimpse of the “American Dream”. She went to work wherever she could find it. These jobs included fast food server, cleaning staff, and later as an employee in the corporate world.
She put everything she knew into trying to make a better life for herself, even earning a Business Degree during nights and weekends while working fulltime during the day. There was just one problem. The “American Dream” does not work for people like Aileen in traditional corporate America. Aileen wanted to secure her financial freedom and spend more time with her family.
She began looking

Network Marketing On The Rise In South Korea

The number of multi-level marketing (MLM) firms operating in South Korea rose in the second quarter, the antitrust watchdog said Friday, as the government moves to better regulate such operators to prevent consumer damage.
According to the Fair Trade Commission (FTC), there were 132 MLMs in the country as of June 30, up seven from three months earlier. It said 11 new firms opened for business while four closed.
MLMs refer to companies where the sales personnel are not only compensated for selling products and services, but for the sales generated by the salespeople they recruit. Some companies have been discovered to exploit members and are viewed as illegal pyramid schemes.
The FTC said all new businesses signed consumer damage compensation contracts with official direct-selling mutual aid cooperatives. The agreements bind MLMs to conform to

90 Year Old Dena Edwards Has Been Mary Kay Distributor For 46 Years

The OCRegister reports:
A black-and-white newspaper clipping from a 1974 edition of the Fullerton Tribune shows a grinning woman stroking her cheeks in an upward motion, showing patients at a convalescent hospital how to properly apply facial cream.
Dena Edwards, the woman in the photo, was already well into her career selling cosmetics with Mary Kay Inc. when that photo was taken. She started her career 46 years ago and hasn’t stopped working since.
Even today, the bottom of her pink business card reads: “Call me for a complimentary facial.”
Edwards celebrated her 90th birthday on Saturday.
Crowned with a sparkly silver tiara, Edwards greeted old friends, colleagues and customers at the active senior residential community in Fullerton she calls home. Today, she maintains more than 150 Mary Kay customers as an executive senior sales director.

Where The FTC Went Right — And Where It Went Wrong

If Amway could make it out of the problems they had and come out the strongest network marketing company in the world, there’s a strong chance that Vemma can make it out of this as well — and probably better for it.
Whether you agree with the FTC or not about their reasons, it’s still an organization Americans need to understand and respect if they want to stay off the FTC radar.
The recent allegations against Vemma by the FTC are strong, to say the least. But what isn’t strong, is network marketing’s response to it. True to fashion, the response has been a retalliation against the allegations, disregarding the accusations. It is doubtful that most network marketers have read the details of the report.
In a nutshell, Vemma is in trouble because some time
