PM-International Reports Sale of One Billion FitLine Products Worldwide

Milestone reflects more than three decades of global product distribution and brand development. 
PM-International has announced a major company milestone, confirming that more than one billion FitLine products have been sold worldwide.
Over the past three decades, the FitLine brand has been used by more than 1,000 professional athletes and sports associations globally, including the ATP Tour, the German Ice Hockey Federation, Paris Basketball, and the Korean Wrestling Federation.
Within global direct selling and health and wellness, long-term product volume milestones are viewed as indicators of sustained consumer demand, continued growth, operational scale, and brand longevity across international markets.
The company described the milestone as a historic achievement that “reflects more than 30 years of scientific innovation, premium product quality and the trust and loyalty of millions of distributors and customers across the globe.”

WFDSA Reports: Direct Selling Remained Steady Amid Global Economic Shifts

The World Federation of Direct Selling Associations (WFDSA) Releases Annual Definitive Data on Global Industry, Showing Signs of Stabilization
The World Federation of Direct Selling Associations (WFDSA), the global trade association representing the direct selling industry for 47 years, released its latest STATS report, showing global stability and potential growth.

Report Highlights
Direct selling remained around $164 billion in global retail sales, an increase of $675 million over pre-pandemic sales, with 45% of markets in the study showing increases.  The number of independent representatives grew slightly over last year to 104.3 million, 72.1% of whom are women.
The Asia-Pacific region continues to be the largest by market share, fueled by emerging players like Malaysia, but the Americas grew the most in 2024. In addition, the number of “billion-dollar markets” in 2024 stayed consistent at 21. The STATS report tracked demographic shifts among independent entrepreneurs and product categories. Wellness products continue to dominate the industry along with cosmetics and personal care – including K-beauty brands.

Jeunesse Sets Monthly Sales Record With Over $78 Million In Sales

Global Retail Sales Of Direct Sellers Climb 8% To $178.5 Billion

 
The World Federation of Direct Selling Associations (WFDSA) reported global retail sales of US$178.5 billion for 2013, a record for the organization. The total surpasses 2012 retail sales of US$165.2 billion by 8.1%, and continues a period of tremendous growth with 3-year compound annual growth rate of 6.8%. 2013 business results are driven by increases in three-quarters of the WFDSA national member direct selling associations (DSA).
The direct selling industry annual sales figure includes revenue from the more than 60 member country DSAs as well as estimates for all other countries in the world.

“Our global sales force of over 96 million independent contractors are the driving force behind this remarkable achievement,” said WFDSA Chairman Alessandro G. The number of independent contractors participating in direct selling rose 7% to a record of 96.2 million individuals worldwide.
Direct selling industry business results are compiled from an annual survey of companies in all member countries of the WFDSA, as well as research-based estimates for all other 
countries.
