doTerra Sourcing Initiatives In Bulgaria

In honor of the national day of the Republic of Bulgaria – the third of March – doTERRA, the world’s leading global essential oils company, today announced its social impact and community building initiatives in Bulgaria.
doTERRA is honored to participate in a reception in Washington, D.C. at the Member’s Room in the Library of Congress Thomas Jefferson Building on March 1, 2018 that will be hosted by the Ambassador of the Republic of Bulgaria to the United States H.E. Tihomir Stoytchev and his wife Lubka Stoytchev.
In 2015, doTERRA launched Esseterre Bulgaria, a new farming and distilling operation in Bulgaria. Built and managed by a Bulgarian team, Esseterre is applying the doTERRA Co-Impact Sourcing approach to revitalize the essential oils industry in the country.

 
It partners with hundreds of local farmers in Eastern Bulgaria to grow and distill Lavender and Melissa, among other essential oils.
The distillation facility, operating 20 stills, is one of the largest such facilities in Bulgaria and Esseterre has become a top 300 company (in terms of revenue) in the country. Additionally, the doTERRA Healing Hands Foundation® has provided funding and resources to assist in the professional development of Bulgarian youth in need.

How Multilevel Marketing Companies Got The Autism Community Hooked On Essential Oils

Mother Jones is a reader-supported nonprofit news organization and the winner of the American Society of Magazine Editors’ 2017 Magazine of the Year Award.

“Over the past five years or so, with a big assist from DoTerra and its main competitor, an MLM company called Young Living, essential oils have taken off in the autism community.
Some parents I talked to told me they spend more than $200 a month on DoTerra products.”
On Facebook, there are dozens of essential oil groups for parents of kids on the spectrum—the group Autism, ADHD, and Essential Oils, for example, has more than 19,000 members.
Dawna Toews, an Ontario-based DoTerra saleswoman, told me she holds sales events all over the United States and Canada, where she teaches the families of children with autism how to use oils as a complementary therapy to help with some of the symptoms. “When you get an autism diagnosis for your child, you feel incredibly helpless, and you just want to be able to do something,” Toews told me.

Since launching operations in rural Kenya two years ago with its partner, Fairoils, doTERRA’s Co-Impact Sourcing®initiative has partnered with smallholder farmers in southern Kenya to create hundreds of jobs and is expected to create over 5,000 rural farming jobs by 2020. The doTERRA Healing Hands Foundation® has also provided funding and resources to complete nine community projects that have benefitted the health and well-being of thousands of Kenyans – with more in the pipeline.

doTERRA Expands World Headquarters In The USA To 2,950 Employees

A world leader in sourcing, testing, manufacturing, and distributing CPTG essential oils, doTERRA is breaking ground on the continued development of its corporate campus in Pleasant Grove, Utah.
This third phase of growth will include the construction of a new medical clinic and office building, as well as an expansion of the company’s manufacturing facility, which together will house 700 additional employees at doTERRA’s Utah headquarters in Pleasant Grove. In addition, doTERRA is building a fulfillment center in Lindon, Utah, which will employ 250 people.
Upon completion of this third phase in 2019, doTERRA will have more than 2,950 employees in Utah and nearly 970,000 square feet of professional office, medical, manufacturing, and fulfillment space, spanning 100 acres.
As part of its expansion plans, doTERRA will more than double the size of its current manufacturing facility, bringing its total square footage from nearly 125,000 square feet to almost 324,000 square feet. Once it is completed in fall 2018, the expansion will offer capacity for an additional 200 employees. The additions to the facility will be built to the highest OTC and TGA standards. doTERRA, the world’s leading global essential oils company, is pleased to announce the appointment of Dr. Brannick Riggs to its corporate administration team as vice president of healthcare initiatives and chief medical director of doTERRA’s medical clinic.
Riggs, who has served on doTERRA’s medical advisory board for five years, will continue to practice medicine while advancing the work doTERRA has already begun in research and healthcare in this newly created position.
