Herbalife Q4 2017 Sales Up 5% To $1.1 Billion

Herbalife Ltd. (NYSE: HLF) reports results for the fourth quarter and full year ended December 31, 2017.
Fourth quarter 2017 reported net sales of $1.1 billion increased 5% and 3% on an as reported and constant currency basis, respectively, compared to fourth quarter 2016.
Fourth quarter 2017 reported EPS of ($0.87) per diluted share compared to $1.16 per diluted share for the comparable prior year quarter, which includes a provisional one-time non-cash charge of $153 million, or ($2.01) per adjusted1 diluted share, as a result of the Tax Cuts and Jobs Act (the “Tax Act”) that was signed into law on December 22, 2017.
Adjusted2 earnings per adjusted1 diluted share of $1.29 increased 29% compared to $1.00 per diluted share for the comparable prior year quarter.
Reiterates FY 2018 volume point guidance range of 2% to 6% growth as well as reported and adjusted2 diluted EPS guidance of $3.82 to $4.22 and $4.60 to $5.00.
Announces new executive organization structure.

4,500 Attendees At LifeVantage Elite Academy

Tupperware CEO Rick Goings Steps Down

Tupperware Brands Corporation (NYSE: TUP), executing on its planned succession process, announced today that its Board of Directors elected Patricia (Tricia) A. Stitzel to the position of President & Chief Executive Officer and nominated her for election to the Company’s Board of Directors, effective May 9, 2018. E.V.

LifeVantage Introduces Products, Programs And Technology

LifeVantage Corporation (Nasdaq:LFVN) highlighted a host of significant events at its Elite Academy distributor convention in Indianapolis over the weekend.
LifeVantage recently launched Vitality StackTM Packets, a portable version of its successful Vitality StackTM product. The initial cyberlaunch was followed up at Elite Academy with a formal introduction to over 4,500 distributors with training to support the launch.
LifeVantage Chief Marketing Officer Ryan Goodwin commented,
“This new product further swings the pendulum toward a family of biohacking products that build on and complement each other, rather than toward any single product. The strong distributor response gives us confidence that our product strategy is on trend.”

Avon Closes Down In Australia And New Zealand After 50 years 21,000 Reps In Shock

In a statement, the company confirmed Avon would close its operations in Australia and New Zealand by the end of the year, leaving the company’s 220 staff and more than 21,400 representatives facing an uncertain future.
The statement read:
“As part of the company’s strategy to return Avon to long-term sustainable profitable growth, the focus will be on markets with the greatest potential for future growth to support its vision of becoming the world’s leading social beauty company.
“In line with this, after a thorough deliberation on our performance, the direct selling conditions in the market, and potential for growth, we have considered all options for the business and it is with much sadness that we are announcing our decision to exit the Australia and New Zealand markets.”
Current and former Avon reps have bombarded the Avon Facebook page with messages of disapproval.
Avon ANZ president and managing director Sharon Plant said it was a “sad day” for the company’s employees and representatives.
“As a management team our commitment and focus over the coming days, weeks and months is to support our people and the wider Avon community who are impacted by this decision,” she said.
