30,000+ Distributors And Customers Will Attend DoTerra’s Convention in Salt Lake City

Visit Salt Lake (VSL) is hosting its largest annual convention client, doTERRA, at the Calvin L. Rampton Salt Palace Convention Center and Vivint Smart Home Arena this week, Sept. 19-22.
While celebrating its 10-year anniversary, doTERRA is expected to welcome over 30,000 of its wellness advocates and customers.
Sustainability is at the forefront of its annual convention with creative new systems initiated to reuse, recycle and repurpose materials, and the purchase of solar credits to attain energy neutral status.
With attendees from more than 75 countries during its four-day 2018 Global Convention, doTERRA is launching new products, revealing a major new local medical partnership and announcing new Co-Impact Global Sourcing and Healing Hands Foundation initiatives.
A Healing Hands Foundation service project will take place on Thursday and Friday from noon to 4 p.m. assembling support items for victims of human trafficking.

Thousands Attend Melaleuca’s 29th Annual Convention

Thousands of people from all over the world spent part of last week learning, coaching, reflecting and celebrating at Melaleuca’s 29th Annual Convention. The three-day event, held at the Calvin L. Rampton Salt Palace Convention Center, brought together Melaleuca marketing executives and customers. Hundreds of employees from east Idaho traveled to Salt Lake City to help with the convention.
Company leaders addressed the large crowd, new products were announced and attendees participated in workshops.  “Hearing the speakers, I thought, ‘Wow. This company is so different than any other company I’ve seen,” said Rainbow Lackey, a marketing executive from Las Vegas. “It really has been a life-changing convention.”
Last year, for the first time, Melaleuca reached more than $2 billion in sales. Over the years, the company has paid out $5.2 billion to marketing executives living around the globe. One purpose of the convention is to honor their achievements.
“They’re the ones who have created this. They’re the ones who made this happen,” said Melaleuca CEO Frank VanderSloot. “They’ve come here from all over the world as one big Melaleuca family to celebrate each other.”

Immunotec Convention In Guatemala Attracts 1,500 Attendees

Immunotec currently operates in six markets worldwide: Canada, Mexico, United States, Dominican Republic, Ireland and the United Kingdom.

Immunotec was actually founded as Immunotec Research in 1996. It was born out of the work of medical researcher Dr. Gustavo Bounous.
In 1978, Bounous initiated a novel program in conjunction with colleagues from the McGill University Faculty of Medicine in Montreal, including Dr. Patricia Kongshavn, to search for a dietary protein source that would boost the immune system.
