Oriflame Appoints Robert Bensoussan as Chairman

Following the agreement of its comprehensive recapitalisation transaction (the “Recapitalisation Transaction”), which reduces debt by approximately €550m, extends the group’s revolving credit facility and provides a capital injection of €50m from the shareholders and a consortium of existing investors, Oriflame is pleased to announce the appointment of Robert Bensoussan as Chairman of Oriflame Holding limited and Oriflame Investment Holding PLC, with his appointment to become effective from the date of completion of the Recapitalisation Transaction, targeted for later this year.
Robert Bensoussan has significant experience scaling and reshaping premium consumer brands, most notably as CEO of Jimmy Choo, where he led a rapid international expansion, and as Chairman of Feelunique.com, through to its sale to Sephora. He also served on several boards, of both public and private companies, across his career, such as Interparfums (Nasdaq: IPAR) and Lululemon (Nasdaq: LULU). His extensive track record and expertise will be extremely valuable to the long-term success of the business.

New Proprietary Research From Oriflame Redefines Beauty As a Powerful Driver of Wellbeing

Global beauty and wellbeing company, Oriflame, today releases its first Beauty & Wellbeing Report, revealing a major shift in how women around the world experience and define beauty. Based on a study of 3,500 women across seven countries, the report highlights the powerful role beauty plays in enhancing emotional wellbeing, self-confidence, and daily self-care.
The findings reveal that beauty today is not about chasing perfection, but about feeling emotionally supported, connected, and in control.
Speaking about the report, Anna Malmhake, CEO & President of Oriflame, said,

Key Findings:

Beauty & wellbeing are intricately connected: 95% of respondents say that they recognise a link between beauty and wellbeing, of those 42% see a strong link between the two.
Some 64% of women are most interested in personalised skincare and nutrition, more than any other health intervention.
Some 71% believe society overemphasises physical appearance, while individuals themselves place a greater value on self-confidence (47%) and happiness (36%). Some 43% of respondents connected beauty with both inner and outer qualities.

Oriflame Appoints Anna Malmhake As CEO

Oriflame today announces the appointment of Anna Malmhake as its new Chief Executive Officer and President.
Anna will take over the position from Magnus Brännström, who earlier announced his decision to step down after 18 years as its CEO. Anna Malmhake has extensive experience from leadership positions in several global consumer goods companies. She first joined Oriflame as Member of the Board in 2014.
Anna Malmhake holds a Bachelor degree of Social Science, Business and Law from the University of Stockholm. She started her career in 1991 at Procter & Gamble in Sweden and joined the Coca-Cola company in Stockholm in 1996, where she held various marketing positions. She joined Motorola in 2003 with positions in Sweden, London and Chicago.
In 2007 Anna joined the Absolut Company as Global Brand Director, and in 2011 she moved to Dublin to serve as Chairman and CEO of Irish Distillers. Five years later she was appointed Chairman and CEO of The Absolut Company within Pernod Ricard. In 2020, Anna took on the position as Managing Director Go-To-Market EMEA Region for Activision Blizzard, one of the world’s leading gaming companies.
