But that was just the beginning.
A Brand Outgrows Its Name
As Nerium expanded internationally and evolved beyond skincare into wellness, fitness, and total anti-aging solutions, it became clear that the brand had outgrown its name. Originally tied to a single ingredient—Nerium oleander extract—the name “Nerium” no longer captured the company’s broader mission or product portfolio.
To align with its expanded vision, a new name was needed—one that symbolized a brighter future.
Introducing Neora: A New Light
After an intensive rebranding journey, the company unveiled its new name: Neora—a blend of “neo” (new) and “ora” (light).
“Our goal has always been to make people better and serve as a light in the lives of those we touch,”
says Co-Founder and President Amber Olson Rourke.
“Rebranding in 2019 was a massive undertaking, but it allowed us to create a brand that truly reflects who we are and what we stand for.”
