Arbonne Close To $600 Million In Sales For 2017

In a recent interview in Haute Living,  CEO Kay Zanotti disclosed an annual revenue of close to $600 million. Recently Arbonne International was acquired by Groupe Rocher.
In 2010, you turned around the fortune of Arbonne International. What was your strategy?
“While we were preparing to go through the financial restructuring, I had the challenging task of building trust with our Arbonne independent sales force, who were acutely aware of the need for the bankruptcy.
We were able to get through the bankruptcy in 37 days, which helped build their belief back, as well as that of our 800 plus employees.
We then set about building our five-year strategy, which gave us the glide path to our sustainable business growth, which is now approximately a nearly $600 million-dollar business in seven countries.

Today, Arbonne has a sales force that is almost 100 percent female and management that is half female. How much time did it take you to build such a team and what does it mean for the business?
“Our sales force is primarily female, and we welcome the increasing number of men who are joining based on our more holistic wellness positioning. For both women and men, the Arbonne community represents freedom from the 8

Rodan and Fields alleges the maker of Olay is attempting to “stifle” its truthful advertising regarding a product.
Rodan & Fields LLC filed a complaint on March 20 in the U.S. District Court for the Northern District of California against The Procter & Gamble Co. citing the Lanham Act.

The suit states the defendant filed a challenge against the plaintiff with the National Advertising Division of the Council of Better Business Bureaus in February over allegations of false advertising.

How Tupperware Is Helping NASA Grow Vegetables In Space

On April 2, 2018, the SpaceX Dragon spacecraft will make its 14th resupply to the International Space Station (ISS). Riding on a Falcon 9 rocket, Dragon will take supplies, equipment and scientific research to the crew members aboard the ISS. One of the areas of scientific research for this mission is furthering research on growing vegetables in space.
Since 2015, astronauts have grown crops in space using the Vegetable Production System (Veggie), a plant growth unit deployed on board that grows vegetables (lettuce, tomatoes, etc) to provide a continuous source of fresh food to the crew.
The Veggie also serves a scientific purpose, determining how plants sense, develop and respond to gravity, harvested, analyzed and eaten. NASA scientists also say that growing plants in space can also help them understand how to improve plant production on Earth as well.
With the Veggie system, a seed is inserted into a round soft surface known as a plant pillow inside a circular container. Astronauts then inject the plant pillow with a syringe filled with water. Prior Veggie experiments showed that some plants did better than others based on the regularity of the water and oxygen they received.
But on this mission, the Veggie experiment uses a new method to deliver nutrients to plants through the Passive Orbital
