Harry Slatkin Named CEO Of Blyth, Inc.

 
Blyth, Inc., a direct-to-consumer manufacturer and distributor of home fragrance, household products and accessories, today will name Harry Slatkin as Chief Executive Officer and member of the Board of Directors. Blyth, Inc. was recently acquired by The Carlyle Group, a global investment firm, in partnership with Mr. Slatkin.

Seldia’s European Direct Selling Conference Attended By 200

 
The European Direct Selling Association, Seldia recently held its 5th annual European Direct Selling Conference in Brussels. The theme of the conference was “Direct Selling, an OMNI channel of distribution”.
The conference was attended by a record 200 participants from Europe, USA, Russia, Kazakhstan, South America, as well as an important official Chinese delegation interested to learn more about the direct selling regulations in Europe.
In parallel, over 20 Service Provider companies exhibited their products and services to the participants, adding a professional dimension to the conference.  The one day program featured two panels and four workshops.
In his opening speech Seldia Chairman and CEO of Oriflame Magnus Brännström highlighted the constant growth of the industry and noted that according to an independent external survey, Seldia was perceived as a reputed and credible organization in Brussels.

Belcorp Named A World’s Top Multinational Place To Work

 
Peruvian beauty giant Belcorp appears alongside household names such as Microsoft, American Express and Marriottt in a new ranking of the World’s Best Multinational Workplaces.
Great Place to Work, a global research and consulting firm, surveyed employees and management to discover the priorities of today’s worker and identify the top 25 multinational companies.
In its second consecutive year on the list, Belcorp landed the No. 12 spot. The company employs more than 10,000 at its headquarters in Lima, Peru, and in seven additional markets across Latin America.
