Aces for Humanity Raises $25K For USANA True Health Foundation

 
The Women’s Tennis Association (WTA) announced today the Aces for Humanity, a joint WTA and USANA Health Sciences initiative supporting the USANA True Health Foundation, has raised $25,000 this year toward the not-for-profit philanthropy whose mission is to provide the most critical human necessities to those suffering or in need.
Beginning at the BNP Paribas Open in Indian Wells, every ace served at a Premier-level WTA event translated into a dollar donation for the Foundation. For every ace served by the eight USANA Brand Ambassadors—Caroline Wozniacki, Eugenie Bouchard, Madison Keys, Monica Puig, Sloane Stephens, Samantha Stosur, Zhang Shuai and Zheng Saisai—the WTA contributed $10 to the campaign, while every ace served by any other WTA player translated into a $5 donation.  In sum, 435 aces were served by the eight USANA Ambassadors resulting in a donation of $24,220. The overall amount was increased to $25,000.

DSA President Reacts To ICCA Allegations

 
Direct Selling Association President Joseph Mariano wrote a blog post on The Hill, a political news site published in Washington D.C, reacting to the allegations by the International Coalition of Consumer Advocates in a post title ‘Direct Selling Deception’.
At an event on Capitol Hill celebrating the contributions of direct selling consultants, a single mother of two, who got divorced and went bankrupt eight years ago, tearfully told me direct selling had changed her life, pulling her and her family back from the brink of disaster.  Her story isn’t so unique among members of our community.  In fact, more than 500 direct selling consultants representing 20 companies, 32 states and the District of Columbia are here in in Washington, DC this week to share with members of Congress compelling, personal stories about how
